An insider told PEOPLE that Chase and Hallie had “been DMing back and forth for a bit before Coachella.” However, the duo “met for the first time in person on Friday,” according to the source. “It started off as flirty, good vibes, and then the flirtiness took over. Saturday was their first kiss,” the insider explained. “They kissed at the end of [Justin] Bieber’s set. They were making out on Sunday, too.”
While Hallie resides in New York and Chase lives in Utah, the source claimed, “He’s definitely smitten, and we might see a trip to New York in the cards soon.” However, during the competition series Unwell Winter Games, Hallie and Taylor’s ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, reportedly decided to make out while cameras were down. After Hallie told Chase about Dakota, the insider alleged, “It didn’t bother him. He appreciated her honesty.”
