Brittany Cartwright of The Valley didn’t have an easy go of it with her ex-husband, Jax Taylor. But fortunately, it looks like they’ve reached a much better place. When Andy Cohen checked in with Brittany about how Jax was doing, she gave a very telling answer and said that “he was Jaxing.” It’s nice to see her able to smile about it while knowing that some people will never change.

Brittany appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and Andy felt compelled to ask her how things were going with Jax and their son, Cruz Cauchi.
“I always need to check in with you and see how it is going with Jax,” Andy asked.
“Yeah,” Brittany answered with a smile. She looked lovely in a floral dress. “Jax is Jax-ing,” she added with a laugh.
She admitted that it’s not always easy with him. Andy added that Brittany told him Jax remains sober, which he was very happy to hear. “Yeah, I’m very happy for that. That is a great achievement,” Brittany shared. “It’s just some people are never going to change.”
It’s nice to see her acknowledge this so openly after their very tumultuous and toxic relationship.
And speaking of never changing, Andy confirmed with Brittany if Jax took their 5-year-old son to Hooters for his birthday. Brittany said he did, but she had no problem with that, reminding the audience that she was inducted into the Hooters Hall of Fame and she loved the place.
She was happy that he got to spend time with him on his birthday.
Indeed, it looks like some things will never change, but at least now, Brittany and Jax are on the same page.
