Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky stunned the Bravoverse when they announced their split. The couple, who have been married for nearly 30 years, separated in 2023. While they seemed to be going through a rough patch, no one expected them to call time on their union. The duo, who have four daughters, have yet to file for divorce. However, it sounds as if they have set some guidelines for doing so.

Of course, during an episode of RHOBH, Kyle discussed pulling the trigger after seeing photos of Mau kissing younger women. In addition, she didn’t enjoy his fondness for PDA. “I’m a little desensitized now, unfortunately,” she previously stated. “I just wish that he would be a little more discreet.” Same, Kyle.
During RHOBH Season 15 Reunion Part 2, Kyle opened up about her situation with Mau and how they recently discussed filing for divorce. “Once there’s someone, you know, that comes into either one of our lives, they’re gonna force our hand in that, obviously,” Kyle explained. “We haven’t felt that and needed to do that.”
Plus, Kyle admitted that she was concerned about their relationship changing once they were divorced. “That does scare me,” she said. For now, she enjoys spending family vacations together in Aspen.
“You know, we’re asked all the time how this happened. I really do believe that money, fame, and traveling …,” Kyle said. She added that if they weren’t wealthy, and Mau was a ski instructor in Colorado, their lives would look different today. “And I do believe that if that had happened, we’d still be together,” Kyle said.
As for what happens when the couple does divorce? Kyle isn’t afraid to get what is hers. When asked if she would ask for her part of The Agency, Kyle didn’t mince words. “Well, it’s mine. Half of it’s mine,” she stated.
