Lisa Vanderpump continues to expand her reality TV presence. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star moved on to helm several reality shows, including Vanderpump Rules. And now, she is venturing into the true crime arena with a new Oxygen series.
Snapped: Rich Bitch Rampage is coming to screens soon
Naturally, Lisa heralded the Season 12 reboot of Pump Rules as a success, even if some fans weren’t thrilled with the series. And of course, she took her staff to the English countryside for Season 3 of Vanderpump Villa. For this season, all of the pampered guests were reality TV stars, unlike previous seasons. It was delightfully chaotic.
Recently, according to DEADLINE, the cable television group Versant announcd it’s slate of new titles during NBCUniversal’s Upfronts. Versant runs USA Network, Oxygen, and E!. And Lisa will host a spinoff of Snapped, currently titled Snapped: Rich Bitch Rampage. The new true crime series will feature what happens when “upper-class scandal collides with cold-blooded murder.” The show, which will premiere next year, will delve into why these privileged women became murderers.
Meanwhile, each episode will gift viewers with an investigation, a murder, and plenty of twists to keep fans guessing. Snapped: Rich Bitch Rampage is produced by Sony Pictures Television and UNconventional Entertainment. In addition, Lisa is one of the executive producers, along with John Henshaw, Aaron Saidman, Gena McCarthy, Eli Holzman, and Danielle Ostroske. The President of Entertainment, Versant, Val Boreland, stated, “We’re proud of the dynamic slate of programming we’ve developed for the year ahead. Our wide array of talent and programming ensures there’s something for every viewer.”
In addition, Lisa also scored a VPR spinoff. The limited-run series, Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, will follow Lisa as she opens a hotel in Sin City. The series will also feature an opening party for the hotel, stacked with familiar Bravo faces. If you’re a fan of LVP, you will certainly be blessed with seeing more of her on your screens!
