Dorit Kemsley is currently promoting her newly released memoir, Unburdened. Dorit discussed her marriage with PK Kemsley at length in her pages, but “he needs to go buy the book” himself for one very specific reason.
Clearly, this ever-tardy Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is in her “unburdened” era, especially when it comes to her ex.
The RHOBH star says her ex might not “be happy”
Dorit might be talking about at least one (ex) husband in her new memoir. But PK still doesn’t get her book for free. Instead, as she told Us Weekly, “Maybe if we were still married, he would have [read it early].” But since they are in the midst of a divorce, “he needs to go buy the book” himself now.
Dorit doesn’t “really know” how PK will feel, should he read what she wrote. But as she explained, “I think that when someone is looking for fault in something, I think it’s all about a mindset. I think if he goes in with a mindset that’s open and compassionate,” then maybe “he’ll be able to look at it in one way.” However, “If he goes in looking to pick on every little thing, then of course, he’s not going to be happy.”
Either way, she stressed, “In order to be unburdened, I really need to not care.” Dorit is “very happy” these days. So she is “certainly not going to let any people’s opinions affect this really, really amazing time.”
Dorit finally feels “like I’m living, right now, in bliss. I want to soak up the moment. I want to enjoy it,” she said. And down the road, she hopes to enjoy her life with PK at her side, acting as her friend.
“I think we’re much better friends than we are enemies,” Dorit admitted, but, unfortunately, it’s not just my opinion. He needs to reach that place himself, too,” she stressed. “Hopefully, he will.”
