Dorit Kemsley is opening up about the plastic surgeries she has, and hasn’t, undergone. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has weathered speculation for years about her appearance. In her new memoir, Unburdened, which was released on June 2, Dorit put the plastic surgery rumors to bed.
The reality star is tackling the rumors
Even Dorit’s RHOBH co-star, Sutton Stracke, stoked the plastic surgery gossip. When Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow said Dorit was “pretty,” Sutton fired back. “Well, when you’ve had enough surgery, anybody can be pretty,” Sutton said. Yikes!
According to OK!, in an excerpt from her memoir, Dorit addressed the rumors. “Apparently, depending on the week, I’ve had everything from a nose job to cheek implants to a chin implant to a full facial reconstruction,” Dorit said. “I’ve even heard ‘face transplant.’ Creative.”
“For the record: no nose job. No facelift. No chin implant,” she wrote. The RHOBH star continued, “No cheek implants,” adding, “no reconstructive anything.”
Meanwhile, Dorit did admit to the procedures that she has had. “I’ve been very open about having my breasts done. I never hid that,” she stated. “So I always found it odd that people assume I would admit to one surgery and lie about another. What would be the difference?”
In addition, Dorit admitted to getting veneers, using fillers, and Botox. “I’m sure I’ll wake up one day and say, ‘Okay – it’s time.’ And if that day comes and you ask me, I won’t pretend otherwise,” Dorit said in her book.
Plus, Dorit delved into her tumultuous marriage to PK Kemsley in her book. She revealed that PK’s drinking spelled doom for their marriage. “The drinking no longer amplified his charm; it dulled his warmth. The man who had once been magnetic and playful became, at times, unpredictable,” Dorit wrote.
