One RHOA Star Says Drama Could Cost Her High-Profile Career Link

Shamea Morton of The Real Housewives of Atlanta shared that she might lose her job with the NBA thanks to Angela Oakley’s cheating allegations. She refuted the rumors and discussed how she now found herself backed into a corner by them. She also revealed her thoughts on Drew Sidora and her relationship with K. Michelle. There’s a lot to unpack, and Shamea laid it on the table.

Shamea Morton NBA-linked career concerns in RHOA feud

Recently on RHOA, Angela insinuated that Shamea cheated on her hubby with players from the Hawks and Falcons. This was supposedly as Shamea was doing her job as an in-game host for the Hawks. This isn’t just a throwaway comment. It could have serious implications for Shamea’s work.

She spoke with Carlos King on Reality with the King and said the allegations could potentially cost her her role with the NBA. Now she is in a position where she has to “prove her innocence.”

“Why would I sleep with the players if my husband can own the team?” Shamea said about the claims. She vehemently refuted Angela’s allegations, saying she never had any relations with a Falcons or Hawks player who she says are young enough “to be her children.”

“I dated an athlete when I was in college, in 2003,” Shamea admitted. “He played for the Kansas City Chiefs. And it was short-lived.”

In the same interview, Shamea was also asked if she thought Drew was physically trying to become Porsha Williams (thanks to her recent lipo and “mommy makeover”). She said 100% yes, and said she once had to look twice because she thought Drew was Porsha.

But she didn’t stop there. Shamea also denied K. Michelle’s claim that Shamea told her that Kandi didn’t want them to be friends. She claimed to have all the “time-stamped receipts.”

However, despite that, she claims she likes K. Michelle and still wants to get to know her better. She says she wants to give her a chance despite other castmates seemingly trying to make Michelle look “crazy” this season.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Bravo every Sunday at 8/7c, and you can stream it the following day on Peacock.
