Is romance better the second time around for Shep Rose and his ex, Taylor Ann Green? The couple called it quits in 2022 after two years of dating. Reportedly, Shep cheated on Taylor, and he refused to embrace commitment. So, is this duo rekindling their romance?
Are the Southern Charm stars dating again?
Recently, Taylor and her boyfriend, Gaston Rojas, ended their relationship. As you may recall, Southern Charm star Salley Carson also dated Gaston, and a feud erupted between the two women. Taylor claimed Gaston was a cheat, although he denied her accusations. Plus, Taylor also claimed that their romance ended due to “fundamental differences.”
After leaving Southern Charm in 2025, Taylor was reportedly spotted filming for the upcoming season with Rod Razavi and Salley. So, it looks like we will see Shep and Taylor together in Season 12. But will we see them dating again?
During a visit to SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Shep discussed his regrets about his relationship with Taylor. “She loved me so much, and she cared about me so much, and I took it for granted,” Shep stated. “And I care about her and her family very much. Thankfully, that relationship stayed somewhat connected.”
He added, “She’s a little bit back in my life, and I’m just very pleased with that.” So, Shep didn’t confirm that the duo has recaptured their romantic spark. Still, it sounds hopeful that they are at least friends.
Apparently, Shep harbored fears that his bond with his ex was “gone forever.” And he appears to look back on their relationship fondly. “We spent so much good time,” Shep stated, “so much laughter, so much adventure and intimate moments and lovely things. It’s hard for me to understand how not to honor that with whether you want to call that nostalgia or what have you,” he added.
