Sometimes bonding over shared struggles can help a relationship grow. That seems to be what happened between The Valley alum Jax Taylor and his longtime publicist, Lori Krebs. According to sources, their relationship has grown beyond friendship, and this is because they bonded over some of life’s biggest challenges, like being divorced and caring for their children with autism.
Their relationship has turned romantic, according to a report
TMZ reported that a source close to the pair has confirmed that Jax and Lori have grown much closer over the past several months. Apparently, the pair are supporting one another through their respective divorces and the unique challenges of raising a child with special needs. The source claims that this closeness has gone beyond platonic.
Plus, the source alleges that Lori, who has always been substance-free, has been an important pillar of support for Jax during his recovery. It’s no secret that, unlike Lori, Jax has struggled with substance abuse and is focusing on staying sober and recovering. Lori has helped support him as he gets his life back on track.
Despite the speculation online, there was no years-long affair. There was no cheating. And there was definitely no overlap with Jax’s marriage or split with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, who Lori also represented for over a decade.
Adding fuel to the rumors, a source told US Weekly that Brittany fired Lori after the Mexico photos surfaced. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything nefarious happened. Perhaps Brittany just wanted to avoid drama as she and Jax continue to navigate co-parenting their son Cruz.
In the end, the source shared that neither Jax nor Lori expected their relationship to unfold and become public this way. They were supposedly keeping it private while figuring things out. However, photos of them getting very close in Puerto Vallarta surfaced, and their budding relationship went public real quick.
They were also spotted together in a Florida restaurant last May. Jax was there for some mental health and recovery-related appearances.
