Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s plans after moving back to the UK have reportedly come to light. According to a report, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s return to Britain may not be completely permanent. The news comes as their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are already enrolled in a British school, ready for the new term in September.
Meghan Markle might ‘come and go’ after UK return with Prince Harry
As the Sussexes are reportedly returning to the UK within days, Meghan Markle will apparently “come and go.” Sources have claimed that she already intends to divide her time between the UK and the US. There is still no clarity on how long Prince Harry and Markle plan to live in Britain, with reports suggesting that the Duchess does not wish to be based here full-time. As per Markle’s friends, she will also “need” to spend periods back in California.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a friend revealed, “Meghan will need to spend quite a bit of time in the US. She can’t just dial in, she will need to be there.” Meanwhile, a source has disclosed that the Sussexes could be in the UK for an “extended period.” The insider suggested, “It could be six months, it could be a year, it could be more. I don’t think even they know yet. They might suddenly go, ‘Why don’t we try Canada for a while? Why don’t we try Australia?'”
Although reports suggested that King Charles was only officially informed of the royal couple’s plans days before they became public, a friend of the Sussex couple claims otherwise. According to them, the monarch was already aware that his youngest son and daughter-in-law were considering a return. “William has also been aware for about six months. There is no question of anyone being ‘blindsided,'” shared the pair’s confidant.
As per reports, the As Ever founder has agreed to the UK move as she “believes she has to.” Celebrity journalist Rob Shuter claimed that Harry is “miserable in California,” explaining that Markle fears losing him and feels things need to change.
