Below Deck Mediterranean alum Malia White has an exciting update regarding her yachting career. Fans may recall that Malia started from humble beginnings on the show as a deckhand. But after she left and came back several seasons later, Malia was then promoted to bosun. And she was the first-ever female bosun on the series at that. However, now Malia has shifted her career in the yachting industry yet again.
Malia White is now a charter and sales broker
Malia had quite the run on Bravo while on BDM. She started on Season 2 of the series as a deckhand. Then she came back for Seasons 5 and 6 as bosun. But she’s probably most known for causing quite the stir with Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier in Season 5.
She applied the rule “if you see something, say something” and reported Hannah to Captain Sandy Yawn. Malia had found that Hanna had some Valium and a CBD vape onboard. Once Sandy found out, it was game over for Hannah, and she was sent packing. This made some fans quite upset.
Still, Malia returned for Season 6 as bosun, and she even joined a different Bravo show. Malia and Chief Stew Katie Flood joined Season 3 of Winter House. And they were definitely the cleanest members of the cast, as they were constantly picking up after everyone.
While Malia has taken a break from appearing on Bravo, she hasn’t taken a break from her yachting career. She announced online that she is now a charter and sales broker. Fancy!
Malia wrote, “Thrilled to start my new journey in the yachting industry! Bringing my charter expertise to the table I’m ready to take on brokerage.” Then she added some cute boat-themed emojis and several yachting hashtags.
Perhaps her next Bravo endeavor could be a show about the behind-the-scenes of a luxury yachting charter and sales broker? Just a thought.
