Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Episode 11. Last week, Mary’s church finally reopened, and she gave an inspiring sermon to the group. However, it’s still going to take a lot more work to bring everyone back together. Meanwhile, Britani tried and failed yet again to get Jared to commit to her. While it seemed Lisa and John were committed to not listening to one another. And finally, Todd told Bronwyn he did not want any sort of arrangement in their marriage. But Bronwyn didn’t buy it. Here’s exactly what went down in Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Episode 11: “Ladies Who Lunch: The Sequel.”

This episode is titled “Ladies Who Lunch: The Sequel,” and like most sequels, it’s never quite as good as the original. In Season 1, Episode 5, Mary hosted a Met Gala-themed lunch at Valter’s with lavish gifts and drama that frightened Valter himself. This time around felt lackluster, with Angie quizzing Meredith on Crazy Rich Asians trivia to disprove she watched the movie instead of yelling at Britani on the plane. Still, the pile-on worked as Meredith met with Britani, and the two finally apologized. But trouble was brewing on the horizon between Whitney and Meredith when Whitney wondered if Meredith had issues with alcohol.

The brief bit of peace the group had while at Mary’s church quickly disappeared as soon as they all met up at Valter’s. When Whitney saw the betta fish Mary gifted them, she joked, “They’re fighting fish, just like my friends.” And it didn’t take long for the fight to begin.

Mary thanked everyone for supporting her on her big day. Then she brought up the fact that Britani wasn’t there and told them she disinvited her for calling her the “least Christ-like person.” However, Mary was shocked when Britani apologized. She then used this story to tell the group that if Britani can apologize, they could as well.

Heather jumped in and explained how offended she was at Lisa and her behavior towards Britani while Meredith went off on her. Lisa said in her confessional, “The fact that these girls exacerbated this into something it wasn’t is kind of bullsh*t.”

Mary, however, had a different perspective. She said in her confessional, “We were there, we heard it and we were present. And if all of us are saying what we heard and it’s all lining up against what she said she actually did, then… here we are.”

Then it got awkward when Angie and Heather tried to have a “gotcha” moment with Meredith. They claimed she was yelling the entire flight, but Meredith said she was watching Crazy Rich Asians. So Angie asked what the ending was. Meredith was stumped. It’s a romcom; the guy always gets the girl!

Meredith admitted she felt bad for Britani, but no one seemed to care how Britani came for her marriage. Heather quipped, “You lost the right to cry when you guys harassed her on the plane.” Meredith was shook.

The lunch continued on. In her confessional, Meredith had some choice words for Heather. She said, “For Heather not to give me the benefit of the doubt and a little bit of grace is actually shocking. She should just be a human being and not a judgmental b*tch.” Your move, Heather!

Mary tried to bring some sense back to the conversation. She told Meredith, “I’m not attacking you. I’m really not. I love you, I care about you, and you know you were hurt.” Meredith noted, “I didn’t have a lot of support at that point.” To which Heather rolled her eyes.

Heather and Angie then tried to nitpick the semantics again with Meredith, but Lisa cut them off. She told them to stop playing Clue and just admit they didn’t like Meredith’s behavior. But Meredith still denied any misbehaving. And then she called out Whitney for talking about her behind her back. Ruh-roh.

Bronwyn raised her hand that it was her who told Meredith that Whitney thought Meredith didn’t remember what happened on the plane because she had been drinking. Meredith quipped, “I don’t have a substance abuse problem.” Whitney chimed in that Meredith might have anger issues or a “problem mixing substances.”

Meredith retorted, “What you’re saying you witnessed, I don’t believe, and you’re a known liar.” Bronwyn knew she messed up with Whitney, but the group stayed focused on Meredith. Meredith told them, “What more do you want from me? I don’t know what I’m going to do with Britani. So that’s all I can say for now.”

Meredith calls Britani “a sad specimen”

Lisa met up with Meredith at the nail salon to discuss the Valter’s gang-up and her meeting with Britani. Meredith told Lisa she thought it was weird that Heather was being Judgy McJudgerson and leading this crusade against her. But what bothered her the most was Whitney.

She said, “Why is she sitting there trying to judge me? My mental health and my drinking … for a woman who is on every journey under the sun, from ‘hilling’ to religion to whatever. I think she should focus on herself.”

Lisa couldn’t wait any longer and spilled the tea she had met up with Britani. She basically gave her an “I’m sorry you feel that way” apology. Britani sighed in response.

Meredith shared, “I’m just going to be the bigger person and move on. Has she been horrible to me? Yes. But do I feel sorry for Britani that she can’t hold a relationship, she struggles professionally? One hundred percent. It’s kind of, like, just a sad specimen.” Ouch!

Meanwhile, Whitney met up at Heather’s to help get rid of her mattress. And of course, one always wears stilettos and a Chanel dress with gloves, and then gloves over your gloves to do such dirty work.

Whitney brought up Meredith. She said she was worried Meredith blacked out, and that reminded her of her dad, who was an addict. But then she moved onto Bronwyn

She told Heather, “I was fully planning on talking to Meredith and telling her my concerns for her as her friend. I would have never ever told Bronwyn what I experienced on the plane had I known that little coward would run straight to her like a venomous hungry snake.” Grabs popcorn.

Three generations of ladies with bobs walked into a bonsai tree store. There’s a joke in here somewhere. Bronwyn, Mozzi, and Gwen all sat down to plant some bonsai and not so subtly tell Bronwyn they were both moving out. Gwen wanted to go to Portland, while Mozzi just needed her own space.

Bronwyn finally felt she was in a good spot with her mom and joked she would get rid of Todd if that would change her mind to stay. Mozzi quipped, “I think Todd’s going to get rid of you.” Might want to keep working on that relationship.

Across town another mother-daughter duo with issues met up. Britani and her daughter Olivia decided to go to a therapy session together. Olivia shared more about her trauma growing up with Britani not paying attention to her. Britani had no words but was just thankful Olivia was willing to give her a chance again.

And Britani continued the theme of forgiveness when she met up with Meredith. Meredith cut to the chase and apologized for talking behind her back on the plane. She was hopeful they could move forward with kindness and respect.

Britani didn’t take long to accept her apology and even admitted she was shady for bringing up the TikTok of Seth allegedly having a mistress. The two agreed to start with baby steps to get back on track. Now that Britani and Meredith had let their feud go, would the rest of the group follow suit?

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and can be streamed on Peacock the next day.
