Garcelle Beauvais is continuing to win after leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The former RHOBH star has been spending time with family, keeping busy with several work projects, and is enjoying dating again now that it’s not in front of the reality TV camera all the time. Things have been “going really good.”
Is Garcelle Beauvais currently in a relationship?
While the actress and producer didn’t confirm that she was in a relationship, she did say her dating life was going great.
“I’m dating, and it’s fun,” Garcelle told US Weekly while promoting her recent Lifetime movies Taken at a Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Movie and Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted 2 Love. For both movies, Garcelle is both star and executive producer.
“I think, you know, I’m finding a good balance, and my heart is open, so we’ll see what happens,” she added.
When she was asked about mentioning previously that she liked dating when the cameras weren’t rolling, she immediately agreed.
“Yes, 100 percent. That was the tricky part for me,” Garcelle explained. “In my first season (of RHOBH), I did have someone in my life, you know, not everybody wants to sign up for that. And the kind of guy I want to be with, I don’t want him to be on a reality show. That’s just me.”
You can’t blame her. A lot of relationships seem to fall apart under public scrutiny. In Garcelle’s last season of RHOBH alone, her co-stars Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley were both navigating splitting from their husbands.
“I mean, it was fun, but I’m happy. A little privacy is nice for me,” Garcelle said. “It was tough being in that fish bowl. And I know the fandom is amazing, and everyone loves the show. I took a lot away with me from it. But I’m also happy I get to spend more time with kids before they go off to college. And I get to do all these great creative things that I like to do.”
Garcelle announced her departure from RHOBH after five seasons last March 2025. Since then, she appears to be thriving although the fans definitely miss her!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo on Tuesday, December 4 at 8/7c. It streams the next day on Peacock.
