Lisa Vanderpump Celebrates as Pump Rules Season 12 Claims Big Bravo Victory

While some OG Vanderpump Rules fans continue to trash the Season 12 reboot, Lisa Vanderpump is celebrating a major win for the show. Allegedly, Pump Rules has become the “biggest new Bravo show launch” of 2025. It’s an unexpected win, considering some of the other reports about the show’s viewership, but Lisa is running a victory lap.

Vanderpump Rules Season 12 is the “biggest new Bravo show launch” of 2025

When Pump Rules Season 12 kicked off earlier this month, fans quickly picked up on the fact that the live ratings hit an all-time low. The new crew attracted less than 300,000 live viewers, prompting some insiders to speculate that the reboot was dead on arrival.

However, Lisa shared an Instagram post on December 18 claiming the exact opposite. According to her stats, the Pump Rules Season 12 premiere blew the ratings through the roof.

She wrote, “Just got the good news that Vanderpump Rules is thriving…the Season 12 premiere reached 2.6 million viewers across platforms, making it bigger than all new series in 2025! Congrats to our incredible cast and crew.”

Now, we’re not trying to say that LVP’s post isn’t accurate. We don’t work at Bravo, and we don’t know the numbers. However, we’ve got to point out that this is an unusual claim for a couple of reasons.

First of all, Vanderpump Rules isn’t a “new Bravo show.” This is Season 12. To call this a “new Bravo show launch” seems like a stretch. A reboot? Sure.

Second, Bravo already did a publicity blitz earlier this year, claiming that Next Gen NYC was their most-watched series premiere of all time with 5.4 million total viewers across all platforms. So, if the Season 12 premiere of VPR got 2.6 million viewers, wouldn’t that make it the second “biggest new Bravo show launch” of the year? Unless of course, these stats are specifically about the VPR premiere, while Next Gen NYC’s stats were about multiple episodes of the show within a certain timeframe after premiere.

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo, and you can stream it the next day on Peacock.
