Welcome back, Below Deck Mediterranean fans! Last week, Nathan selfishly snagged some peak alone time with Gael. However, zero storylines landed more seriously than Cathy’s. Her stepfather passed away, so now, Cathy faces a major decision, as do Joe and Kizzi, albeit for entirely separate reasons. Here’s what happened on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 14, “Guilt Trip.”
What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 14?
Kizzi and Joe purposely messed up behind V’s back. But now, Kizzi feels bad for sneaking around on her friend, as does Joe, or so they both claim. Regardless, V is back onboard. So, now, Joe and Kizzi must decide how to handle their dirty little hookup secret.
Cathy makes a brave, hard decision

Captain Sandy lost her parents while at sea, so she understands Cathy’s grief. As for Max, he is really starting to like Cathy. He hopes she chooses to stay. But he knows that she might need to leave.
From her hotel, V celebrates her birthday, which is also the first “anniversary of Bon’s passing.” Her emotions are understandably chaotic, she explains.
Back on the yacht, the guests head to their lighthouse picnic. Here, Max is growing antsy. He wants to get back onboard to comfort his girl, Cathy. But Nathan is still acting “selfish,” keeping Gael on the yacht instead of swapping her out with Max.
Nathan’s self-serving scheduling is indeed working in his favor, as back on the yacht, we see Gael’s defenses starting to weaken. Speaking of committing, Cathy exits her cabin, fully dressed and ready to tackle this charter. For now, she is staying onboard. But she will be taking things “minute by minute,” she admits.
Joe and Kizzi spiral

Aesha hopes to serve at least one synchronized dinner service. But Josh keeps cranking out family-style meals. She talks to him, but Josh is hesitant to switch gears, noting, “there’s been no issues so far” with their guests.
Aesha also asks Josh to make a cake. She wants to celebrate V once she returns to the yacht. Aesha also wants to honor Bon, courtesy of flowers arranged in the sea.
Max finally makes it back to the boat. He pulls Cathy into his arms. But sadly, their heartfelt reunion is cut short. Trash weather is rolling into town, and Captain Sandy needs all hands on deck.
Max feels “livid.” But he still does as asked. On deck, Aesha reveals that V is coming back tomorrow. Joe and Kizzi ask Aesha for her advice, but per usual, Aesha responds with bluntness, letting Kizzi know that she needs to apologize for being “a stupid b*tch.”
In her confessional, Kizzi slams Joe. He doesn’t feel guilty, she thinks. But in his talking head, Joe raises his hands, admitting, “I’m guilty.” Clocking them both from a third interview, Aesha quips, “It’s really sh*tty of both of them, and they deserve to feel like sh*t.”
During another family-style dinner service, Captain Sandy spots the guests passing their platters around. She sighs.
Also sighing is Nathan. Gael leaves tomorrow. And he has yet to win back her trust.
In the morning, Max prepares a hot tea for his “honey.” Cathy cries. Max is helping her “carry on.”
V returns to the yacht

The guests depart, leaving a weak $16,000 tip. Unrelated, Captain Sandy announces that, for the remaining two charters, zero family-style meals should be served. Sorry, Josh.
V returns, feeling great and “excited to” hear about everything she’s missed. Realizing that V deserves this high, Aesha pulls Joe aside, asking him not to tell V anything until after her birthday dinner that night.
On deck, they later sing Happy Birthday to V. But, as they eat, V realizes that Joe is barely making eye contact with her.
Across the way, Nathan leans in for a kiss with Gael, but Gael dodges his efforts. Nathan excuses himself, and Gael follows his lead. Here, Nathan cries. He wants Gael to stay nearby until his charter season ends, so that they can give their romance another go.
Nathan and Gael rejoin V’s birthday party. Max pulls Nathan aside, hoping to hear an apology from his bosun. It never arrives. V joins them outside, wondering what Joe’s deal is.
The boys dodge her question. Back on board, V gives an emotional speech as her crew places flowers in the sea. Joe weeps, quietly asking himself, “What the f*ck am I?”
As the credits roll, V further honors Bon’s life, including “all the parts of him” that he left inside her heart. But then, we see Joe heading to a private room to weep. The music heightens, leaving us with yet another “TO BE CONTINUED” sign on our screens.
Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
