Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hasn’t been an easy one for newbie Amanda Frances. The “Money Queen” sometimes rubbed her cast members the wrong way. It seems that Amanda enjoys playing the one-up game, and the RHOBH ladies weren’t thrilled. Including Dorit Kemsley.
Still, there is no denying that Amanda doesn’t fear standing up to her co-stars. “Well, Amanda honestly was a little annoying in the beginning,” Kathy Hilton previously admitted. “But then you know, I just, I really like her.” However, during RHOBH Season 15 Episode 6, a cringe moment happened between Dorit and Amanda that I can’t unsee.
Why was Dorit Kemsley touching Amanda Frances?
At Rachel Zoe’s psychic dinner party, Dorit asked Amanda why she was talking about Dorit discussing her divorce from PK Kemsley. In all fairness, Amanda was concerned about how it would affect custody arrangements. However, the night of the party, Amanda was grieving the loss of her son. “Zion died three years ago today, and I’m holding on by a thread,” she told her RHOBH co-stars.
Amanda was pregnant with twin boys, Zion and Canaan. They were born prematurely, and sadly, Zion passed away five days after his birth. And while Dorit suggested tabling the discussion, she brought it up again.
“He died. My kid died,” Amanda said. “You’re not very kind.” Of course, Amanda decided to leave, and Kathy and Kyle Richards followed her to the door. When Kathy told Amanda how “bad” everyone felt, Amanda stated, “Only one person should.”
Of course, Kathy went and grabbed Dorit, asking her to “be the bigger person.” So, Dorit embraced Amanda and said how sorry she was for what she was experiencing. As Dorit wiped a tear from Amanda’s face, Amanda said, “Don’t touch me right now, please.” AWKWARD!
Dorit stated, “It was a nice gesture.” However, Amanda was still stuck on how Dorit acted at dinner. “But like, I told you my kid died, and you kept going,” Amanda said.
