Lisa Rinna’s New Book Reveals Bravo Fined Her Huge Amount for ‘Unleashing Impulsive Opinions on Instagram’

Lisa Rinna never backs down from an argument. So it makes sense that her new memoir is called, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It. As her title suggests, Lisa’s memoir offers her fans a candid glimpse into her life, including tidbits from her witty reign of terror on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. On this, Lisa’s just revealed, Bravo once fined her a lot of money for her rather “impulsive opinions on Instagram.”

Lisa Rinna enjoyed most of her time on RHOBH

Gibson Johns, host of the Gabbing with Gib podcast, recently “got a sneak peek of the audiobook” version of Lisa’s new memoir. “And let’s just say that it lives up to the title,” he teased. For those looking to score a copy, it’s scheduled to drop on February 24, 2026. But while you wait, here are a few breadcrumbs from her pages.

In the prologue, according to Gibson, Lisa “kicks off with some pretty good tea about RHOBH.” And then, we hear Lisa’s voice, reading, “I shot one of my very first scenes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with Eileen Davidson and Brandi Glanville.” As Lisa revealed, they shot her initial scene in a restaurant, but before filming, Brandi “had been on the phone” with one of the producers for “three hours.” And apparently, this producer thought their show was “boring.”

So, Brandi hung up, got all gussied up, arrived at the restaurant, and threw a glass of wine at Eileen. Lisa next admitted that she was “a truth teller” on RHOBH. Yet, her mouth caused her “so much trouble,” she admitted.

Lisa has “literally been fined $50K by Bravo for opening my mouth and unleashing impulsive opinions on Instagram.” And this incident is just one of the reasons why she decided to “leave the show.” However, Lisa did love filming on this series, minus the last year, she stressed. As Lisa ended, “It was a good time, until it wasn’t.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs without Lisa on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
