The Real Housewives of New York has been on ice since Season 15 aired. It was clear that the rebooted cast wasn’t connecting with some fans. So, a cast refresh was in order. However, one of the RHONY newbies for Season 16, Hailey Glassman, is reportedly stirring up controversy.
Along with Hailey, newbies Daisy Toye and Erika Hammond are joining the franchise. Unfortunately, influencer Claudia Oshry has claimed that since 2017, Hailey has been trolling and body-shaming her.
Claudia Oshry made the claims about Real Housewives of New York’s latest addition
Claudia posted a video via Instagram, detailing the comments that Hailey reportedly made. She accused Hailey of being a “deep internet troll since 2017.” The first message that Claudia allegedly received from Hailey read, “Omg your voice is so annoying. Like Janice from Friends.”
According to Claudia, Hailey made several comments about her weight. “She’s obsessed with my weight, look,” the influencer said before reading more remarks reportedly written by Hailey. “‘Skinny minnie, now. Looks great, but you gotta own you’re on wegovy. You’re an influencer and you really should be honest on your platform about it,” Hailey allegedly wrote. “When you need any skin tightening since you def lost enough to need it, I’ll set you up with a great plastic surgeon in NYC.’”
Then Claudia showed a screenshot of Hailey sending her Mother’s Day wishes. “So weird how you were skinnier pregnant than you were 2 years ago not pregnant. You’re a magician!” Hailey supposedly wrote. Yikes.
Meanwhile, Claudia commented on Hailey’s casting. “I don’t know what barrel Bravo was scraping the bottom of casting this person, but it’s giving Monica [Garcia] from [Real Housewives of] Salt Lake City,” Claudia stated.
It appears that Hailey also took a shot at her former boyfriend in 2010. She gave an interview, dissing Jon Gosselin’s manhood. We will have to wait and see if Hailey responds to Claudia’s allegations. RHONY Season 16 begins filming soon, with legend Carole Radziwill returning as a friend of the cast.
