Unfortunately for her, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley is back in the headlines. This time, her finances, or rumored lack thereof, are the cause. Regarding this matter, Teddi Mellencamp, her former RHOBH filming partner, has some thoughts.
Dorit Kemsley is reportedly facing foreclosure on her mansion
The weight of Dorit’s wallet is often a point of contention on RHOBH, especially following her split from Paul “PK” Kemsley. These days, Dorit is reportedly facing a pre-foreclosure on their formerly shared Encino mansion. Dorit apparently has a massive outstanding mortgage debt, split between two different lenders, of $842,376.
Case in point, on a recent episode of the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Teddi and her guest co-star, Dolores Catania, read aloud one of the many headlines Dorit has recently found herself in. “It says, ‘Dorit Kemsley Faces Foreclosure of $6.5 Million Mansion Over $842K Debt Mountain After Fans Call Out Her Shopping Addiction.’ This is on Radar,” Teddi explained. And, if true, Teddi added, Dorit has every right to feel “concerned” right now.
Also, Dolores interjected, on RHOBH, Teddi has “been very clear: ‘I don’t know my finances. I don’t know my bills. He handled it all.’” Therefore, as Dolores stressed, Dorit took “a really big risk” in not knowing her shared marital “finances” with PK.
Furthermore, Dorit has been on RHOBH for a long time. And “She’s not a dumb girl. She speaks several languages,” Dolores noted. So, what has Dorit “been doing with [her] money all this time?”
That said, while asking herself this question, Dolores made sure to note that she is standing on Dorit’s “side” of this issue.
