Taylor Frankie Paul, and her canceled season of The Bachelorette, continue to make headlines. However, former Bachelorette Gabby Windey was not interested in commenting. Just ask Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen.
Taylor’s season was shelved amid an open domestic violence investigation involving her and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. In addition, footage of a 2023 altercation between Taylor and Dakota surfaced, and ABC pulled the plug. For the 2023 incident, Taylor pleaded guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault. Her daughter was present during that encounter.
Gabby Windey returned to WWHL
In a statement, the network announced, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”
During a recent visit to WWHL, Andy tried to get the Season 19 Bachelorette’s take on the drama swirling around Taylor. However, Gabby wasn’t game to share her opinion on the show’s cancellation. “Oh, my God,” Gabby exclaimed. “You would dive right in!”
She continued, “You know what? I’m busy. Who has enough time?” Gabby added, “I’m here for you to ask me questions about me, Andy. So, what about me?!” After all, Gabby is hosting a new dating show on Hulu, titled Love Overboard. The messy series mixes elements of some of our reality TV faves. It is sort of a wild blend of Love Island and Below Deck, and Gabby is steering the chaos.
In the show, some couples are pampered, while others have to work on the ship and are called “Downsiders.” In order to elevate their station, these contestants have to break up one of the four upper deck couples.
Love Overboard is streaming on Hulu. The Bachelorette is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
