Kroy Biermann Demands Sole Custody of Kids With Kim Zolciak; Former RHOA Star Responds

The long and drawn-out breakup between Real Housewives of Atlanta alums Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann rages on. For the last three years, they’ve been filing for divorce and then dismissing it more times than we can count. There’s been mud slinging, numerous police interventions, and, most recently, Kroy has claimed to be a survivor of domestic abuse.

Now, things have taken another turn. In a new court filing, the former NFL player asked a judge to grant him sole custody of the kids. According to him, Kim has been out of the country for weeks and has been failing as a parent. Kim, on the other hand, had another side of the story.

In new court documents reviewed by TMZ, Kroy went to a judge this week and dragged Kim for her parenting skills, or lack thereof. According to him, Kim has basically been MIA for the last few months. The word on the street is that she filmed for the upcoming season of Squid Game: The Challenge and then immediately went to the Dominican Republic for Amazon’s girls trip show. Either way, Kroy isn’t happy.

In the court filing, Kroy claimed that Kim committed “fraud and deceit” when she entered into their temporary custody agreement. He demanded that a judge revoke their joint custody agreement and give him sole custody of their little ones.

In the court filing, he said that Kim has failed to show up as a parent between February 29 and March 29, except for one night on March 9. Allegedly, a dog bit one of their kids during that one night when Kim was present.

Kroy argued, “The facts surrounding [Kim’s] misguided parenting of the children, lack thereof, and blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities would be practically unbelievable to anyone not familiar with the circumstances.”

A judge has yet to rule on the matter, but Kroy wants this addressed immediately. In the meantime, Kim has made it clear that she doesn’t agree with Kroy’s accusations. She accused him of trying to “defame” her character.

“These accusations are completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character,” Kim told TMZ. “I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family and make sure my children are cared for—something I will never apologize for.”

She continued, “I refuse to be bullied or have lies twisted into a narrative about who I am. I will not stay silent, the truth is on my side, and it will come to light—no matter how hard anyone tries to bury it.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns to Bravo on Sunday, April 5 at 8/7c. You can stream it on Peacock anytime.
