Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards continues to grieve her dear friend Patrick Muldoon. The actor passed away suddenly on April 19 at the age of 57.

Denise recently admitted that it’s been really hard doing press for the recently released Dirty Hands movie. The long-time friends worked together on the action/thriller.

Currently, the Starship Troopers star is having trouble watching any of their past films since her beloved friend died.

“We’ve reunited on so many films together over the years and have been so lucky and blessed to work with each other,” she told Extra’s Derek Hough. “Anytime we could work together, we have … We have always loved being on set together and there’s such a respect.”

“Our friendship had gone on for over 40 years,” the Bond girl added. “So I would have worked on anything with him.” Even her ex Charlie Sheen, who remains close with Denise, sometimes felt “threatened” over the years by her close friendship with Patrick.

While she was “devastated” by his sudden death, Denise knew that he would want her to promote their last film together. “He wants us to honor our project,” she said. “He was so passionate about this movie.”

In Dirty Hands, the two former lovers play a married couple who must fight for their lives after a drug deal goes bad. Speaking of her character in the film, Denise said, “Sheila has been there by her man through thick and thin. However, I would say she’s kind of at a … breaking point … with all the craziness in the movie. At the end of the day, it’s got a lot of heart in it. It’s about redemption. It’s about loyalty.”

Having seen parts of the movie, Denise praises Patrick’s final role as his “best performance.”

“Dirty Hands” is available on VOD and digital.
