Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and actress Denise Richards is mourning the loss of ex-boyfriend and good friend, Patrick Muldoon. Patrick died suddenly over the weekend. He was only 57 years old. He and Denise have remained close throughout the years, and according to sources, she is inconsolable.
Denise’s daughter Lola Sheen “begged” her mom to “end up” with the late actor
Denise dated Patrick for almost five years in the 1990s, but she’s known him since she was a teenager. According to The Daily Mail, Denise is inconsolable in the wake of his sudden passing.
“She’s devastated. Really, really sad,” a source close to Denise shared. “She can’t stop crying.”
Denise remained close to Patrick her whole life. So much so that their relationship sometimes threatened Denise’s other partners. Not only was he close to her, but he was also close to her daughters.
In fact, Sami Sheen was fairly certain that Patrick still had feelings for her mom. Denise shot a music video with Patrick in 2025 that was featured in Denise’s show, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. Sami noticed how flirty he was with Denise and felt he might still have some feelings for his former lover.
Even Lola Sheen admired Denise and Patrick’s relationship. Lola paid tribute to the Days of Our Lives actor on social media. She said she thought he would be in their lives forever and even “begged” her mom to get back together with him.
“I thought you were the one who was supposed to be in our lives forever,” Lola wrote. “I will really miss hearing my mom laugh on the phone with you. Your voice always brightened my day, and I’m gonna miss hearing it, but I know my mom will more. We will never stop talking about you.”
