The ghost of Brit Eady is still haunting the bigwigs at Bravo. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star is moving full steam ahead with her lawsuit, claiming that she endured harassment on set of Season 16. Yes, the same season where she made thinly veiled threats about a pistol.
Brit wound up skipping the Season 16 reunion and leaving the show. However, in her lawsuit, she claimed that the network gave her a major ultimatum about potentially coming back for Season 17. Unfortunately for her, Insiders close to the network say it never happened.
Insiders say Brit Eady was not asked back to RHOA

In Brit’s lawsuit, where she seeks $20 million in damages, she detailed how things crossed a line in Season 16 when Kenya Moore revealed a posterboard that appeared to show explicit sexual images of her. It all went down at the now-defunct Kenya Moore Hair Spa, and it’s a moment that has gone down in RHOA history for all of the wrong reasons.
Of course, Bravo launched an investigation into the incident, and sidelined Kenya for the foreseeable future. But in Brit’s lawsuit, she said that the network gave her an ultimatum that she’d have to agree to continue working with Kenya if she wanted to come back for Season 17. In this version of events, there’s a world where they both would have come back for another season.
The only issue with Brit’s claim is that sources close to the network say that it never happened. Insiders spoke to TMZ and claimed there was no truth to Brit’s claims about a Season 17 ultimatum. Allegedly, they never asked her back. Instead, Bravo wound up replacing her and Kenya with Love & Hip Hop star K. Michelle and Slutty Vegan restaurateur Pinky Cole.
Regardless of whether or not the Season 17 ultimatum happened, Bravo’s lawyers want this case thrown out. In a court filing, they argued that Britt knew what she signed up for when she signed her contract. They argued that she can’t sue them because, in her contract, they warned her that she could experience “stressful and emotionally challenging” situations when filming Housewives.
Brit’s team, on the other hand, argues that what happened in Season 16 went so far out of bounds that it wouldn’t be covered by the contract.
The case is ongoing, so keep your eyes peeled for more updates as this mess continues to unfold in court.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. You can stream new episodes the next day on Peacock.
