Dorit and PK Kemsley’s divorce ramped up last week, when LA attorney Ron Richards leaked their private text messages. In case you’re wondering how he obtained the texts, they’re part of the court documents filed in their divorce case. Unfortunately for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, that makes them public record.
The documents included bank statements and personal text messages. They are part of a “financial disclosure subpoena” and were legally requested by PK’s attorney.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard from Ron Richards. He also publicly shared Erika Jayne’s private financial situation during her legal issues with her estranged husband Tom Girardi.
The PK and Dorit Kemsley divorce is getting contentious
“Since you asked,” Richards wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “here are some of the text messages [between Dorit and PK]. Our favorite is Dorit Kemsley telling her own spouse in a divorce he has no right to look at the finances, and she is going to take action if he continues reviewing them.”
Of course, in a divorce case both spouses are required to submit their finances. The judge needs them to determine whether either party should receive financial support.
“Yes, it’s true, she is clueless on discovery in a divorce,” Richards added. “Paul Kemsley, of course, is not too honest either, as he tells her he has no intention of publicizing them outside of counsel.” Actually, it was Richards, not PK, who released the texts to the world.
Meanwhile, Dorit texted, “Where are you getting those reports of my … expenditure? … Those are personal [and] not for your consumption … If you are invading my privacy, it’s a big problem for me.”
“You’re going to be asking me for money that I’m simply not going to provide without an agreement,” PK explained. “The concept … that you can do what you like, whilst asking me to make essential payments on your behalf is not quite the case.”
