On May 11, Hollywood icon Sally Field was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. “How many times a year do you polish your two Academy Awards, two Golden Globes, and three Emmys?” Andy Cohen asked.
After she responded, “A big fat f*cking zero,” Andy teased that Sally, who lives in his building, has no household help.
“I tried to get Sally to hire a housekeeper,” the host continued. “You should see this woman. I [run] into her in the trash room at all hours. I mean, she’s schlepping around, doing her own stuff. I’m like, ‘Can I help?'”
The Hollywood star also reflected on her legendary career
Moving on to her renowned career in television and film, Andy asked, “How many of your past projects do you feel like you rewatch each year?”
“None,” she replied. “Oh, big fat none.”
“When we were neighbors, how often could you hear happenings in my apartment?” Andy asked. “Like music, parties, loud talking, the kids.”
After pausing diplomatically, Sally admitted, “Um, frequently, but it would be Ben [Andy’s young son] … Wonderful Ben! It just made me so happy. He was screaming and yelling.”
“Yeah, that was a rough time,” Andy confessed. “He’s regulated now.”
“He was great though,” Sally added. “He would ride his bike up and down the hallway. Yes, he would … Noisy. Fabulous.”
As the mother of three grown men, Sally is no stranger to small boy behavior. In fact, her youngest son, Sam Greisman, spent time on the set of Steel Magnolias as an infant.
“He was on the set all the time, and my friends took care of him,” Sally said in a recent People interview. “Sam has always said that that’s probably why he’s gay,” she joked.
Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs new episodes Sunday through Thursday on Bravo. It streams the following day on Peacock.
