The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17 is ongoing on Bravo, and some fans are calling Cynthia Bailey a highlight on the show. Ahead of more of the drama and Dynasty in Dallas, the RHOA star talked about her friendship with other RHOA stars, alums NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore. Spoiler alert: one friendship is going great! The other, not so good.
The RHOA star opened up about her current relationship with both Bravo personalities
Cynthia returned to RHOA for Season 16 as a friend of the show, and fans were thrilled to have her back. After all, she is an OG. She appeared on TSR Reality TV to talk about her time back on RHOA and her current standing with former RHOA friends NeNe and Kenya.
When she was asked about the last time she spoke to NeNe, Cynthia replied (at the 54:48 mark), “You know what, I actually spoke to NeNe probably about three weeks ago.” She shared that they don’t get to see each other often, and they may not be as close as their RHOA days, but “it’s all good.”
“We have a great relationship,” she explained. “We’re not super tight, but I love NeNe. I will always have love for her, and I have a lot of respect for her. NeNe brought me into Housewives. The love is real and always for NeNe.”
The friends are set to appear together in Bravo’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. The show marks NeNe’s return to Bravo after her falling out with the network.
As for Kenya, Cynthia revealed she hasn’t spoken to Kenya since the unfortunate incident at Kenya’s former salon and all the drama that followed with fellow cast member Brit Eady.
“I have not spoken to Kenya,” Cynthia shared. “What is, that was like a real friendship.” She added that out of respect for Kenya, she wouldn’t share any further details. Cynthia previously said that she was not a fan of how Kenya reacted to what happened. “I just felt like she was bigger. I felt the way she responded was beneath her,” Cynthia said.
It looks like Cynthia hasn’t heard back from Kenya since everything happened in 2024.
