If you haven’t been keeping up with Spencer Pratt, he’s considering a major career change. And no, he’s not pursuing a music career like his wife Heidi Montag. Instead, he’s campaigning to become the next Mayor of Los Angeles. Yep, that’s actually happening.
The aspiring politician has no actual government experience, but he sure is passionate about the idea of running the city. He’s going to need all of the endorsements he can get, and in LA, there’s plenty of Hollywood icons and Bravo stars that could back him.
Is Lisa Rinna one of them? She just made her stance public.
The RHOBH alum is making her position clear
Lisa was recently asked who she was going to cast her vote for in the 2026 LA Mayor election. And surprisingly, there was only one candidate on the ballot that she is definitely not choosing.
“I am gonna say I don’t know yet. Not a reality star, though. I’m sorry. I love him, but we’ve already done that, we’re not going to do that again,” she told Variety.
The reality TV icon elaborated, adding that she isn’t rooting for Spencer based on qualifications, or lack thereof.
“…Listen, I’m a reality person. You wouldn’t want me as mayor, really. I mean, let’s just face it, I love him. I think he’s amazing. I just think we did that. Let’s have somebody that’s already been mayor, the mayor of San Jose, or whoever.”
Unlike Lisa, a few other reality TV stars have given a thumbs up towards Spencer’s campaign. Heather Dubrow thinks that he could be good for the city. And Kristen Cavallari, his former co-star from The Hills, also believes in him.
According to the polling data, he actually can put up a good fight in the election and could potentially win the whole thing. Will he do it? Only time will tell.
