Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne’s RHOBH Feud Gets a Friendship Update

Dorit Kemsley had a pretty contentious season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Several of her friends suffered, and many seemed like they might be unsalvageable. However, Dorit isn’t holding a grudge against co-star Erika Jayne despite butting heads all of last season. In fact, things are as “warm” as they used to be between them at the moment.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars navigate a shifting dynamic amid ongoing tension

Dorit admits that she was in a pretty dark place during filming, and it may have spilled over into how she interacted with some of her castmates. From her feud with newbie and entrepreneur Amanda Frances to her heated fights with Erika and Kyle Richards, Dorit had a rather short fuse all season.

But it looks like things are looking up for her and Erika. While talking about her new book, Unburdened with E! News, Dorit shared that she and Erika have spoken since the heated reunion.

“Erika and I have had some texts back and forth,” she admitted. “And it was as warm as it always was. It’s a testament to our connection. It’s almost a decade-long friendship.”

However, the same isn’t true for Kyle. At least not yet. She and Kyle have clashed and made up many times over the years, so it may be only a matter of time before they talk, but for now, no communication yet.

“Kyle and I have not spoken yet,” Dorit said. ‘But I say, and I stand by this, when you have two people that want to resolve something, that’s all you need.” Dorit is open to resolving her beef with Kyle, but that might mean “looking at how our friendship has taken a different shape.”

“Hopefully, Kyle will get there,” Dorit added. “And her and I can at least take a step forward.”

For now, she’s looking inward about the issues that sparked tension between them. She admitted to working harder to not be late and arrive on time. That’s a step at least.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock.
