In an excerpt previously published in Us Weekly, Dorit shared that she only remained on RHOBH because of PK. Regarding her Season 7 debut, Dorit wrote, “When the season wrapped, and they asked me back, I stood at a quiet crossroads. Part of me hoped they wouldn’t. But they did ask. And I said yes. The principal reason was simple: PK.”

“He was proud of me,” said the Beverly Beach founder. “He saw possibility where I saw disruption.”

For Dorit’s part, “I liked bringing something into our marriage that excited him,” she admitted. “I liked being admired by my husband … liked knowing he believed I could do it. I trusted that he saw something in the opportunity that I did not yet appreciate.”

But according to Dorit, her marriage began to change with PK’s drinking.

“I could enjoy a vodka soda and call it a night,” she recalled. “For PK, the line blurred more easily … Over time, I began to notice the difference between celebration and reliance. The drinking no longer amplified his charm; it dulled his warmth. The man who had once been magnetic and playful became, at times, unpredictable.”

Her husband’s reliance on alcohol made her “anxious,” so she developed tactics to deal with his changing moods. “I would soften my tone,” she revealed. “Redirect conversations. Try to steady the mood before it tipped. He would brush it off, saying he was fine and that it was nothing.”

But it was the beginning of the end of their marriage.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is now streaming on Peacock.
