Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 debuts tonight. This season, three familiar yachties and six fresh faces are joining Captain Sandy Yawn in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where they will navigate the stunning blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. This is a large cast, but Aesha Scott is here for it. She lucked out with three stews instead of the usual two, but the real question is, will her oversized team even get along?
Well, this season, the cast is living in some of their smallest cabins yet. The motor yacht Akira is beautiful, but definitely cramped down below. So, that probably won’t help matters, no? Either way, before tonight’s premiere of Below Deck Med Season 11, let’s take a look at the nine yachties on this cast.
Aesha Scott, Nathan Gallagher, and Joe Bradley are all returning for Below Deck Med Season 11

This season, Nathan Gallagher is returning to his previously held bosun position. Joe Bradley is also coming back as one of his deckhands. The third returning yachtie is, of course, Aesha.
Last season, however, the bromance between Nathan and Joe fizzled out. So, when they return for Season 11, fans can expect a rather messy reunion between the pair.
As for Aesha, who just married her long-time beau, whatever happens on her team, we know she will still try her best to make this her greatest season “eveeeer.”
Three new stews, two new deckhands, and one new chef are all joining Below Deck Med Season 11

In addition to Joe, Nathan will have two other deckhands to lead. According to their Bravo bios, one is new to the yachting industry, while the other has at least two years of experience under his belt.
Meanwhile, Aesha will have three girls at her side. All of them have at least one year of experience. Finally, the chef is new to Bravo. But her resume outside of this series is incredibly extensive.
Cooper Dawson

Cooper Dawson is one of our new deckhands this season. He hails from South Carolina, and he is also extremely tall, so he might have a hard time fitting in his tiny cabin. Copper’s only been working in the yachting industry for a month. But he has a solid work ethic, thanks to his past career as a footballer.
Football was hard on his body, though, so Cooper stepped into the yachting industry instead. In his bio, Cooper listed Joe as his best friend in Season 11. He also joked that Dubrovnik was his favorite charter location, “because it’s my first one.”
Luke Brumer

Luke Brumer is our final new deckhand this season. He is 35 years old and hails from South Africa. Like Cooper, Luke is a massively tall drink of water. But, unlike Cooper, Luke has 16 months of experience.
His special skills include “Handstands, impersonating accents (or trying to), eggs Benedict, making incredible smoothies, giving great hugs, and seeing the good in people.” But Luke also noted his main takeaway from Season 11 as “Big. Lessons. Learned.” Uh oh, Luke.
Is Luke one of the parties involved in this season’s messy love triangle, as seen in the trailer? Only time will tell.
Gen Lillie

Gen Lillie is our first new stew of Season 11, but she is not new to this industry. Instead, this New Yorker has four years of experience, including stints as a chief stew on another boat. Overall, Gen loves service, plus “Table settings, aura readings, and being a brutal truth teller.”
However, when asked to “Sum up this season in three words,” Gen wrote, “Crazy, crash out, and manbabies.” So, as experienced as Gen is, she might have some dramatic storylines this season. I wonder if her three main takeaways had anything to do with Luke’s…
Kayley Smith

Kayley Smith is joining Gen on the interior team. And she is also coming on board with a solid resume. However, Kayley has only worked in the yachting industry for one year. But on her last yacht, Kayley worked as a sole stewardess, so she knows how to handle every aspect of the interior department, from the laundry room to the bar (and beyond).
Regarding her main takeaway of this season, Kayley stressed, “You will likely butt heads with each person at some point, but you will also love these people quicker and more deeply than you could ever imagine!” Aww (maybe).
Kat Johnston

Kat Johnston is our final new stew of Below Deck Med Season 11. She is also the greenest, but not so green that Aesha needs to worry about her abilities. Based on her bio and brief scenes in the trailer, Aesha likely does not need to worry about her attitude either.
Kat summed up this season as “Lit, crazy, movie.” Based on her chosen words, Kat might be a bystander to the chaos this season. That is, when she’s not stuck down below. As Kat herself described, “Working in the interior, sometimes you don’t see sunlight for days. So, I basically turn into Edward Cullen.”
Joy Lefaucheur

That brings us to our last new yachtie, Joy Lefaucheur. Joy is our chef this season, and as Captain Sandy clocked in the trailer, she has an “impressive” resume. In total, Joy has ten years of experience in the galley. And over the years, Joy has cooked for some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, so at least we know she is a skilled professional, unlike a few other chefs in this franchise.
But storyline-wise, as seen in the trailer, Joy will find herself in a love triangle this season. So, Joy is bringing the heat, both inside and outside of the galley on Below Deck Med Season 11.
Below Deck Mediterranean is streaming on Peacock.
