Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 has only just begun, but things are already looking questionable for Nathan Gallagher.
Along with the likes of Aesha Scott and Joe Bradley, who have also returned to the franchise, Nathan has reprised his role as bosun. Captain Sandy Yawn isn’t so sure he’s up to the job, though, as she revealed in Episode 1…
The Below Deck Mediterranean captain admitted her frustrations while talking to producers

To recap, Season 11 of Below Deck Med got off to a literal bang when Captain Sandy hit the dock as a result of a communication error with Nathan. In the aftermath, Nathan panicked about potentially losing his job, and things went from bad to worse as he unraveled during a chat with his boss.
“I am concerned,” Sandy told producers. “I can see how upset Nathan is.”
Elaborating on her worry, Sandy pointed out that, in yachting, there’s no time to dwell on things, which is something Nathan struggles with. “We have a charter starting in less than half a day,” she stressed. “You can’t linger in that place. Just keep moving.”
And, in the spirit of moving on, Sandy later tried to reassure Nathan and redirect his energy. “You gotta learn, don’t let this sh*t bother you like that,” she told him. “You’re the leader of the team. You don’t have time to be down.”
Sandy continued: “Correct the mistake, and be better tomorrow.”
Still hung up on it all, Nathan confessed his fears about the season ahead to producers during a confessional. “I do know it’s going to be difficult,” he admitted. “I’m still trying to find my feet in the bosun role. And I’m also just trying to find my feet in this new dad role. I want to be a good partner.”
“I feel f*cking pressure,” he went on.
Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It also streams on Peacock.
