Kandi Burruss and ex-husband Todd Tucker gave the world a peek at their blended family dynamic post-divorce. Kandi shared several posts on social media showing the former couple vacationing together in the Bahamas. However, despite the family enjoying a good time together, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was quick to shut down rumors of a reunion when a fan suggested reconciliation.
Kandi Burruss responds after fans speculate about reconciliation
Kandi and Todd were married for 11 years. They split last year and finalized their divorce in March 2026 following a brief custody battle. The pair share a son and a daughter, as well as children from previous relationships.
The divorce remained largely amicable and straightforward. Both Kandi and Todd agreed they wanted to focus on their children. Now the former couple is showing just how well they can co-parent on a family vacation to the Bahamas.
Kandi shared several posts on her social media showing the family soaking in the sun. In one post, she showed Todd lounging poolside, reading Daily Prayers for Men. She thought it was funny.
“Let me just say this,” Kandi said, laughing. “We was married for almost 12 years, and that man ain’t never had no Prayers for Men book, none of that. Now we divorced, and he wanna be out here on the beach, well, out on the pool with his Daily Prayers for Men book.” She joked that he should’ve started praying a “long time ago” and captioned the video, “Sometimes I have the urge to be petty!”
In another post, Kandi showed the whole family doing the jiu-jitsu challenge to Drake’s Shabang. Over in the comment section, a fan said that if they can travel together, perhaps they can reconcile their relationship.
Kandi was quick to jump on that. “Nah, I am not healed,” she replied. “We’ll be getting along & then the convo goes left. [emoji] doing good today tho.”
So Todd and Kandi can absolutely co-parent and even enjoy trips as a family, but it looks like a reconciliation isn’t on the horizon.
