Taylor Frankie Paul once again had contact with the police. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star claimed that her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, sent the cops to her home. As you may recall, the former couple was involved in an alleged domestic violence investigation. And they are involved in a custody fight over their son, Ever.
The former SLOMW stars are still battling it out
Dakota and Taylor’s tumultuous relationship played out on SLOMW. Meanwhile, Taylor’s legal issues resulted in a pause in filming for Season 5 of the series. While no charges were filed against Taylor, the former duo were both awarded orders of protection against each other. During the most recent hearing, the judge allowed Taylor to have unsupervised visits with her son.
Recently, Taylor seemingly called out Dakota in her Instagram Story. “Cops called on me again THIS WEEK … what are the odds? And it’s not people … It’s ONE person, the same person,” Taylor wrote across a photo of a tree and the sky. “It’s obsessive.”
According to TMZ, on June 26, Dakota contacted the Bluffdale Police Department. Dakota allegedly had some concerns about custody, drop-offs of their son, and the restraining order. Reportedly, the police contacted Taylor and made sure that all parties had the same understanding regarding drop-off times and the rules of the protective order. Then the matter was sent to the district attorney.
In addition, an insider claimed that Dakota and Taylor have not been in contact since the protective orders were granted, and there was no altercation between the former couple. This news broke just as there was talk that Taylor’s Bachelorette season could air after all.
The network pulled the plug on Season 22 days before it was set to premiere. After Taylor’s recent win in court, unconfirmed reports suggested that ABC could actually release Taylor’s search for love. Plus, the door is open for Taylor to film for SLOMW Season 5.
