Welcome back to your In The City recap!

In last week’s episode, the cast of In The City sat down with Andy to debrief their debut season. Amanda and Kyle gave fans an update on their separation, and she also spilled the tea on her new romance with her former Summer House co-star, West. Elsewhere in the episode, Kenny and Whitney’s relationship was put under the microscope. And she also faced questions from Lindsay over that “single mom card” allegation.

So, what happened next? Here’s exactly what went down in In The City Episode 11: “Reunion Part 2.”

During In The City Episode 11 – titled: “Reunion Part 2” – Andy dug into the friendship drama between Yvonne and Lindsay. They revealed the status of their friendship following the fallout from Yvonne’s wedding dinner. Lindsay and Danielle also unpacked their friendship woes … and looked to the future. Meanwhile, Amanda and Kyle’s separation was a hot topic of conversation, as was the timeline of Eoin’s divorce.

Here’s how it all went down…

Yvonne and Lindsay made amends

Following Yvonne and Nick’s disastrous wedding dinner, Andy checked in on the status of her friendship with Lindsay. “Where do things stand now?” he asked, to which Lindsay affirmed they had mended their differences. “We talk to each other a hundred times a day,” she said, going as far as to say that she, Yvonne, and Nick are “in a throuple.”

“They are as close as ever. Being around them makes me happy that they found each other and that they’ve been friends for so long,” Nick added. “Their loyalty and their bond is closer than sisters.”

But did Lindsay and Danielle find peace?

Lindsay’s friendship with Yvonne wasn’t the only one tested during In The City Season 1. She and Danielle struggled to get their friendship back to a good place, following years of disagreements both on and off Summer House.

Beyond that, in In The City’s debut season, Lindsay expressed disappointment at comments made by Danielle about her life choices. On the flip side, Danielle was unhappy with what she interpreted as Lindsay trying to dig up dirt on Eoin.

At the Reunion, their segment opened with Danielle describing her “shock” at Lindsay’s “season by season account of grievances.” “I didn’t think that our friendship came to that,” she said. From there, Kyle jumped in to say he saw Lindsay’s POV but didn’t think Danielle had done “anything with ill intent.”

Next, the pair got into it about “loyalty” issues regarding Lindsay dating Carl after Danielle had already had a brief romance with him … and then her allegedly giving him a “hand job” in the back of an Uber.

Ultimately, Danielle said Season 1 had set her and Lindsay’s friendship “so far back” in its progress. Danielle also accused Lindsay of “not being done punishing” her for previous missteps, and “hating” that she was on the show. As for Lindsay, she expressed a desire to wash her hands of the situation and be “done with negative energy.” By the end of the chat, however, they both agreed to move forward on a clean slate. Here’s hoping!

Eoin addressed his marriage timeline

Another big topic during In The City Season 1 was the timeline of Eoin’s divorce and the start of his relationship with Danielle. At the Reunion, he admitted to being purposefully “vague” about his marriage when questioned about it by the group.

“I was coming into a group that I didn’t know. So obviously I had my hesitations given the amount of drama that goes on,” he said of that decision. “I had a [personal] issue that I was dealing with. And I didn’t think it was normal to talk about it with a group of people I didn’t know.”

Eoin went on to accuse everyone, except Andrea and Nick, of only asking questions about his divorce while cameras were filming. He suggested that the group intentionally brought the topic up “for the cameras” rather than from a place of genuinely wanting to get to know him.

Although Eoin didn’t offer any further clarification at the Reunion about his divorce, he did express a desire to one day marry Danielle. She also agreed that a wedding would be on the cards and, as fans know, they have since welcomed a baby boy together!

Amanda and Kyle dissected their divorce

Amanda and Kyle’s marriage fell apart during Summer House Season 10, and viewers continued to see the impact of that on In The City Season 1. It’s no surprise then that Andy quizzed the duo on what life has been like since their split … and her scandalous romance with West.

Things kicked off with Kyle discussing various “indiscretions” he made during his marriage, which he and Amanda admitted to keeping a secret from the wider group. One such indiscretion, which Amanda said she had “found out recently,” was that Kyle slept with another woman while they were married. He adamantly denied this. However, Amanda rebutted that there were a lot of rumored instances which Kyle “couldn’t remember.”

Next, the pair opened up about their sex life – or lack of – with Amanda explaining the reason they “didn’t have sex for four years” was in part due to her depression, but also because she felt like Kyle “wasn’t courting” her. “There was no emotional intimacy,” she said. In response, Kyle said his focus during that time was building a business to “provide” a lifestyle for himself and Amanda, which left her feeling like an afterthought.

As for how their divorce proceedings are going, Amanda and Kyle’s lawyers still have some work to do. Although Kyle hoped for a “walk away divorce,” the duo admitted that the two dogs they share, money, and health insurance are just some of the details yet to be resolved.

The cast shared their final thoughts

To close the season, Andy queried the cast on their reflections and thoughts for the future. First up, Kyle admitted he was “bummed” that his and Amanda’s marriage didn’t work out. Amanda added that they stayed together “much longer” than they should have. This, she said, was because of the deep “love and friendship” between them. The teary-eyed pair concluded that although they still have a connection to each other, “too much damage had been done” to stay married.

Next, Gavin and Kenny gave an update on their friendship, which was strained at points during Season 1. “We’re good,” they revealed, with Kenny adding: “It’s one of those relationships that would take a lot to break.” He also shared the status of things between himself and Whitney. Kenny told Andy that he’s “going to marry” Whitney one day … although he suggested they’d “accidentally” already tied the knot during a recent trip to Peru.

Talk then turned to the expectant parents of the group. Andrea and Lexi revealed they’d slowed down on having sex since getting pregnant. Danielle and Eoin also shared their excitement at raising a child together.

Finally, Andy asked Amanda where she sees herself and West heading. This is a question that Bravo fans have no doubt been desperate to find out. “I’m not looking too far into the future right now,” she answered. “I’m just trying to take everything day by day.”
