Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly not been on the same page since their return from the United Kingdom. According to an insider, the Duke of Sussex would like to continue rebuilding his relationship with his father, King Charles. This would mean he is ready to spend more time in his homeland. Meanwhile, Markle has allegedly not enjoyed her latest U.K. visit as it involved several restrictions. It reportedly made her feel that her husband has no longer been “putting her first.”
Insider claims Meghan Markle feels Prince Harry has changed
Meghan Markle has reportedly been feeling that Prince Harry has changed. A source told Heat World that she seemed unimpressed with the duke’s transformation after their U.K. trip. For those unversed, she, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet met King Charles after four years last month. While Harry was said to be happy about the reunion, his wife thought otherwise.
Reportedly, Markle didn’t appreciate the backlash the Sussexes received in the U.K. On top of that, the reunion was kept under wraps. It was reported that she was not allowed to post any photos online or talk about it. However, the insider claimed that Harry seemingly “assured” his wife that it would not continue for long.
“Eventually, they’ll work out a compromise with security as well as other matters like posting photos. But that they needed to take this big step back in order to move forward,” they claimed.
Furthermore, Harry has allegedly been advising Markle to take the road to “forgiveness.” He seemed to be encouraging her to stay connected with the royals through her signature care packages. However, she has allegedly found this suggestion “belittling” and seemed not to be “motivated” to follow it.
“Fact is, Harry isn’t defending her like he used to and that stings. She wants and expects a lot more from him in that regard and finds it disturbing and depressing that he’s not putting her first,” the source alleged.
