Milania Giudice has requested more time before her assault trial so she can take anger management classes. The 20-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was arrested on May 14 following an alleged domestic violence incident.
Milania Giudice enrolls in anger management while her domestic violence case is pending
According to Page Six, Milania joined the Montville Township Municipal Court hearing virtually on August 12. Her attorney, Alan Kraminsky, told the judge that he had spoken with the prosecutor. The prosecutor requested that the hearing be postponed to allow Milania to complete an anger management course. The judge said the state also needs to review discovery and speak with officers involved in the case. The court has now set September 29 as the date for her next hearing.
The judge handling the case previously noted that Milania “did knowingly cause bodily injury to another, specifically by striking the victim, LR, in the head with her fist, causing redness to the middle of the victim’s forehead, during a domestic dispute … a disorderly person’s offense.” The judge also informed her that a conviction could result in up to six months in jail. In addition, she could face probation and fines of more than $500.
Police arrested Milania at her mother Teresa and stepfather Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas’ New Jersey home. Her sister, Gabriella Giudice, called police and reported that Milania was “acting erratically.” She also told officers that Milania had thrown food and candles. Authorities reported no weapons or injuries.
So far, Milania has not publicly acknowledged any wrongdoing. However, she addressed the situation publicly on June 29 in a TikTok video about a mug shot circulating online. She called the image “fake” and criticized it as being AI-generated.
