What Is Below Deck Mediterranean’s Hannah Ferrier Doing Now?

When Captain Sandy Yawn fired Hannah Ferrier, her long-standing Chief Stew, in Season 5, the viewers grew upset, albeit slightly torn, over the matter. To date, many still feel like Captain Sandy did too much, while others will argue that Hannah’s dismissal was fitting. The only thing the viewers can agree on though, is that after her exit, Below Deck Mediterranean struggled. From toxic casting, to a revolving door of Hannah’s ill-fitting replacements, this series crashed, leaving zero proverbial docks left standing.

Hopefully BDM Season 9 slaps, because Season 8 was almost impossible to watch. On the flip side, Hannah’s now thriving. But what has she been up to since her final plank walk? Well, I’ll tell you now, with a side of “Quack, quack b*tch” maritime law.

Hannah headed to the chapel

On BDM Season 5, Hannah revealed that “in between charter seasons,” she “went home to Australia.” While there, she “met someone” named Josh Roberts. On this pairing, Hannah shared that this was “definitely the first relationship that I actually see some longevity” with. She also teased that she could see herself “potentially getting married and making babies and having a family” with Josh.

Take that, Conrad Empson and Jason Ziegler.

Then, on Watch What Happens Live, Hannah broke things down even further, explaining “We actually met in a bar in Sydney, the day after I landed after filming Season 4. We kind of both flirted with each other, but I did let him know I just finished filming, so I was at 50 percent of my normal capability.” Laughing, Hannah joked that she was surprised that this didn’t scare “him off.”

Josh continued to stick around. Eventually, he popped the question, and his Australian yachtie drolled “whatever honnay,” or you know, something similar. The pair were wed in March, 2022.

Then two became three

In between falling in love and walking the aisle, Hannah and Josh welcomed their first child into this world. Their daughter, Ava Grace Roberts, was born in October, 2020. After her birth, Hannah shared that Ava “is already a little menace that has captured our hearts forever.” One look at Hannah’s various social accounts will show you that Ava is her main pride and joy.

Wine is a close second.

She’s her own boss now

After leaving Below Deck Med on the bottom of the ocean’s floor, Hannah founded Ocean International Training Academy — an online training course for those who are hoping to break into the yachting industry. Joining her in this land-based business venture is her Season 4 bestie, Anastasia Surmava. To be honest, the socials for their biz haven’t been updated in awhile, but they’re both moms now, so I’ll give them grace. On the positive side, their website still functions, and here, their courses sell anywhere from $79 to $159.

Three cheers for passive income. Especially in this economy.

She’s also got a podcast

Hannah entered into the podcast game well before it ever became a trend. Now going on Season 4, her pod, Dear Reality, You’re Effed, covers everything from Hannah’s childhood diary, to her thoughts on reality television. Oftentimes, her fellow Bravo stars stop in for a quick chat as well. As far as podcasts go, Hannah’s is funny, and her topics are varied, so I’ll allow it.

The camera’s still love Hannah

Hannah got off of one boat with cameras, but she then returned to filming on another. Coming in as a Cruise Director, Hannah hosted Australia’s most eligible singles on The Real Love Boat. She then entered into the castle for The Traitors (Australia) Season 2, where she filmed as a Faithful. She didn’t win, and I had to Google this to even find that out, as American television hates us, so they fail to give us all of the nice things.

June, June, Hannah, please send me those links.

Under a different captain, Hannah would return to BD

BDM still hasn’t found a new Chief Stew with staying power. On her end, Hannah’s open to returning to the series that once ousted her. But don’t get too excited. You see, in order for Hannah to return, Captain Sandy would either have to leave, or, the network would need to move Hannah on over to a different series.

As for BDM, Hannah explains “I think Below Deck Med would be a difficult one, because I feel like a lot of people thought [the drama leading up to my exit] happened in Season 5, but it had been building for a really long time. Since Season 1, [it has been happening].”

While speaking to Captain Lee Rosbach over on his podcast, Hannah further made note that “it would [not] be conducive to come back to the Mediterranean, but I always said if you or [Captain] Jason [Chambers] needed help or were stuck, I would help you guys. I don’t know about [Captain] Kerry [Titheradge]. I don’t really know him, so I don’t think I need to help him,” Hannah concluded.

Interesting. Well, stranger things have happened over on BD. Therefore, maybe, just maybe, we’ll see Hannah’s face once again on Bravo.
