Inspired by the climate of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, confectioner Van Leeuwen is introducing a new flavor.
The new SLC Scoop features Salt, Lavender, and Caramel flavors — “SLC,” see what they did there? — in honor of the Bravo show. But it won’t be available nationwide until November 19. We’ve got a few episodes to go before we can enjoy this cool treat while watching Season 5.
Serving up a frozen treat to go with the icy drama of RHOSLC
“[RHOSLC] has been serving lighthearted humor and delicious drama to Bravo for years,” said Harriet Hubball, Senior VP of Brand Marketing and Media for NBCUniversal (Bravo’s parent company).
“We wanted to give our fans the perfect treat to pair with season five,” Ms. Hubball continued. “Partnering with Van Leeuwen allows us to bring a taste of the series to life with a unique ice cream flavor as sweet and salty as the RHOSLC housewives.”
Van Leeuwen Ice Cream CEO Ben Van Leeuwen added, “We’re excited to partner with [RHOSLC] to create a flavor that reflects the fun nature of the show. We can’t wait for fans to try this limited-edition ice cream that brings together ingredients as dynamic and unforgettable as the show itself!”
In honor of the launch of the new flavor, the Rockefeller Center location in NYC will undergo a branded takeover on November 19. More details will be released as the date gets closer.
We don’t have a Leeuwen location near where I live in Northern California. But I Googled it and learned it’s available at select grocery stores. Can’t wait to see if it’s as cold and sweet as some of the RHOSLC stars. I’m looking at you, Lisa Barlow.
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
