The breakup between Vanderpump Rules stars James Kennedy and Ally Lewber was a total shock. After the news broke that he was arrested for a domestic violence incident, it wasn’t long until their relationship officially ended.
What was just as unexpected, though, was an alleged phone conversation Ally had after the chaos. She claimed that Lisa Vanderpump called her after James’ arrest and that she urged her to take him back. Now, she’s doubling down on this Lisa drama, and according to her, Scheana Shay fueled it.

Ally recently discussed the phone call she received from Lisa. According to her, she was almost too trusting in the VPR matriarch.
“I’m not hating on myself right now when I say this about me: I’m very impressionable. I trust [Vanderpump]. I’m like, ‘You’re really smart’ … I trust her for the most part. She is a Virgo. She’s very articulate,” she told Page Six.
The reality TV star went on to say that she didn’t begin to question Lisa’s comments until speaking with Scheana. It was this chat that made her convinced that there was some deceit happening.
“I called Scheana after, and she was like, ‘No, you were just manipulated, and also that was really wrong of her to do,’” she says. “And I was like, ‘OK, yeah, you’re right.’ I had to literally sit back and [ask], ‘What?’”
She continued to sing her friend and co-star’s praises throughout the interview, adding that, “she’s such a good person. She means so well.”
Lisa has mentioned that she’s spoken with Ally after the arrest but hasn’t confirmed if she told her to stay with him. If her advice in this phone conversation was true, then it would be completely different from the tune she’s singing now. Just a few weeks ago Lisa was admitting that she can no longer support James for his actions. Which one is it?
