Andy Cohen Sells New York City Condo for Whopping Eight Figures

Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen just made a whole lotta bank with the sale of his NYC duplex. The TV host and executive had put up his pad on the market last year for a meager $14 million. And he even listed the property with Bravo superstar real estate agent Ryan Serhant. You have to keep it in the family, you know. It took a little while, but Andy finally found a buyer. And while he didn’t get his asking price, the final offer ain’t too shabby.

Andy’s duplex was originally listed in September of last year for $14 million. And just like Andy, his place is rather unique. So selling the space would require a buyer with the same eclectic taste. Andy’s real estate agent, Ryan, understood just that.

Ryan had stated about Andy’s apartment, “It’s one of those treasures that you wait your whole career for to find something like this that you get to bring to market and sell.” And luckily for Andy, Ryan had found him a buyer.

Actor and screenwriter Danny Strong was the lucky winner of Andy’s cool space. Danny, who is best known for his work on the show Empire, said, “Andy’s apartment is my dream home. We are so excited to be moving there.” So, how much did Andy receive for his home?

TMZ reported that Andy’s West Village duplex was sold for $10.5 million. It’s not $14 million, but beggars can’t be choosers in today’s real estate market. And Andy’s place has quite a few perks.

It’s 3500 square feet and features the ever trendy blue kitchen, a glass and steel custom stair case, as well as a steam room. Andy also had combined four separate apartments over the years into this one space, so there’s been quite a bit of renovation done.

While Andy pocketed a nice $10.5 million, his new place isn’t quite as affordable. Andy decided to stay in NYC’s West Village and purchased a new pad for $18 million. And hopefully for that price his new place will have plenty enough space for him and his family.
