Gretchen Rossi is back on The Real Housewives of Orange County after 12 years. And her costars love to comment about her style. Her long-time nemesis, Tamra Judge suggested in interviews that Gretchen has a dated look. But those kind of jabs are to be expected from the RHOC veteran, who has sparred with Gretchen since their previous time filming together.
It was, perhaps, more surprising to see Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter joking about Gretchen’s appearance during a recent RHOC episode. But it was all in good fun. Gretchen looks decidedly stunning these days. So much so, that she inspired Emily to change her style.

“It’s funny, because I see these girls out making comments in their media and press interviews about my hair being dated or whatever,” Gretchen told The Daily Beast’s Obsessed. “What’s so funny about that is if you actually go and look on Chat GPT, ’90s bouncy wave bob cuts are what’s in style right now. So I’m very on trend right now with my hairstyle.”
Naturally, the responding Bravolebrity is responding to Tamra’s claims that she needs a makeover. According to the former CUT fitness owner, Gretchen looks exactly as she did over a decade ago.
However, Emily has Gretchen’s back on the matter. The mother-of-one told The Daily Beast that her costar’s haircut is a copy of her own “bouncy lob.” Emily debuted the look on a recent appearance of Watch What Happens Live.
“What’s even funnier is one of them went and just cut her hair exactly like mine,” she shared.
Gretchen’s hairstyle is one thing. But Emily did joke that some of her outfits this season were a bit more cosplay than anything.
