Brittany Cartwright has her sparkle back, and it is no mystery why. The Valley star is thriving now that Jax Taylor is out of the picture.
She made it clear in a new social media post that life is lighter, happier, and completely Jax-free. After months of their split drama playing out on Bravo, Brittany seems more than ready to stand on her own and leave his messiness in the past.

Brittany posted an Instagram photo dump yesterday, giving followers a look at what she’s been up to. The shots show her on set, out to dinner with friends, spending time with her and Jax’s four-year-old son, Cruz, and playing with a new puppy. One picture captures her in the pool with Cruz and the dog, smiling and relaxed.
She recently addressed Jax’s departure from The Valley during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “I found out the night before. And I was like, that was a great decision by everyone,” she told Andy Cohen. When asked about his sobriety, she said, “He’s sober from some things, but not all things.”
Brittany has also claimed that Jax never installed the security cameras he bragged about on the show and has not contributed to their mortgage or Cruz’s expenses.
While Brittany is focused on work and parenting, Jax has stepped away from his Studio City bar. His name has already been removed as the spot prepares for a fresh start.
Fans of The Valley have seen the couple’s relationship fall apart on screen, and Brittany is clearly focused on building a new life without him.
She’s casually dating musician Will Gittens. Whether or not it turns into something serious, Brittany appears content living her life and raising Cruz without the chaos that came with constantly getting “Jaxed.”
