Is Erika Jayne still hanging out with John “Shrek” McPhee? Several months ago, photographers snapped our Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star holding hands with this man. And now, Erika is speaking out about their romance, which recently saw Erika enjoying “one of the best trips” of her life.

On an episode of their podcast, Diamonds in the Rough, Erika opened up to Teddi Mellencamp about John. While John’s military resume is questionable at best, Erika still trusts him enough to be her travel partner. And on this, John recently provided her with a “lovely” jaunt over to Panama.
“I was in Panama last week, and I received some stem cells at this incredible clinic. It was probably one of the best trips I’ve ever had in my entire life. John and I went,” Erika explained.
She continued, “Dates and dinners and holding hands and walking around the old city of Panama—and it was so lovely. I was able to be and just sort of clear my mind,” which made her time here “really happy.”
Regardless, “I just don’t know what’s coming, and sometimes that’s OK. I want inner peace. I want peace after these last five years,” Erika admitted. Therefore, her next chapter “is really up for grabs,” she said.
Her last marriage remains legally intact, thanks to the cognitive decline of her conman estranged husband, Tom Girardi. Meanwhile, John has also been through messy splits “several times,” thanks to his military career. As he deflected, “Only guys [who] had perfect relationships, their marriages survived the war. And I would say the bulk of guys end up divorced.”
