It looks like we’re going to be hearing more about the Next Gen NYC crew. Filming has allegedly started for the new season, and our Next Gen faves are back at it, almost all of them. Hudson McLeroy has left the Big Apple on the heels of his breakup with Ariana Biermann, and Gia Giudice has some thoughts.
We have yet to get an official cast announcement, but it looks like Hudson has left the show. This makes sense considering his split with Ariana. Still, fans are sad to see their relationship come to an end. And it looks like Gia feels the same, although she’s hopeful for the future.
Gia Giudice thinks Ariana Biermann can “flourish on her own” after Hudson McLeroy split
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the new season of Next Gen NYC. The show was quite the Bravo breakout and follows the bustling lives of Bravo’s next generation of stars.
Ahead of the Season 2 premiere, many of the stars are pursuing their own business ventures, other television shows, and doing promotional work. Gia has been quite busy. She joined Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test with her mom, Teresa Giudice. She’s also moving out of the family home and doing a lot of promotional work for what’s ahead.
She recently visited SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show to talk about all the things she’s been keeping busy with. And during her interview, Julia couldn’t help but ask her about the demise of one of Next Gen NYC’s favorite couples.
“I wanted to ask you, because obviously we’re obsessed with Next Gen NYC,” Julia began. “You guys are filming right now. But we were devastated, we were stunned. We were so upset about the news of Ariana and Hudson breaking up. Was that surprising to you, or were you like, ‘We’ll see it all play out?’ What was your reaction? Was it the way that we were all stunned?”
“Definitely,” Gia replied. “I mean, I love both of them, and their decision is their decision. But Ariana is amazing. She’s going to flourish on her own. And I think they both kind of need this time for themselves. We’re still young. So it’s all about, it’s all about figuring it out.”
She’s not wrong. They are at an age where there is still plenty of growing to do. Even Hudson said so on his social media. So perhaps this break really is what’s best for them at this time.
