Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County is almost over. We’ve witnessed lies, lie detector tests, the ghost of “naked wasted” night, and allegations about leaking storylines to the press. However, one noteworthy moment during Part 2 of the RHOC reunion featured host Andy Cohen calling out Slade Smiley.
Gretchen Rossi’s longtime fiancé and baby daddy, Slade, allegedly dug up dirt on Tamra Judge. The trio’s feud goes back to Season 4, and the infamous “naked wasted” party. Gretchen got super drunk and bellowed “Tamrraaa!” It was a moment.
Andy Cohen doesn’t think Gretchen Rossi’s partner Slade Smiley is camera shy
Besides the “naked wasted” claims, Gretchen will also be in the hot seat for transphobic and homophobic posts that she allegedly “liked.” However, Gretchen has denied “liking” the posts.
While Slade, Ryan Boyajian, and Matt Ginella were all invited to the RHOC reunion, only Matt showed. He detailed a phone conversation related to the “naked wasted” controversy, and voiced his frustration that Slade opted not to show up.
“Why didn’t Slade come? It is interesting; he usually doesn’t shy from the camera,” Andy remarked. “Because everyone accuses Slade of wanting to be on camera and wanting to be a Housewife, and wanting to be involved in everything,” Gretchen replied. “And he’s like, ‘I don’t want to be accused with that.'”
When asked why Slade didn’t want to come and share his truth, Gretchen had a response at the ready. “He absolutely does. But, he can do that many other ways,” Gretchen stated. “He doesn’t want to be doing any of this.” So, Slade enjoys stirring up the chaos, and then not being held accountable for his actions. That sounds like something Slade would accuse Tamra of doing.
