The last time we checked in with The Real Housewives of Potomac, they were dressed in their “slutty” outfits and watching Angel storm out of Jassi’s bachelorette party like a sourpuss. This week, they’re back in the DMV, but some of the drama from their cast trip followed them back home.
In The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 Episode 7, “Guess Who’s Back,” we see Angel running around Potomac holding a grudge over what happened in Nevis. It’s unfortunate for her, and it all gets overshadowed when Ashley introduces a familiar face back into the group.
What happened on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 Episode 8?

This week on RHOP, Ashley plans an outing for World Pride, and Monique makes her long-awaited return to RHOP after a five-year hiatus from the group. It’s an exciting moment for the fans, but potentially a nightmare for Gizelle. Elsewhere in the DMV area, Stacey dropped her cannabis line, Angel continued whining about Nevis, and a few of the ladies traveled to Jassi’s wedding. Keep on reading for all of the tea on RHOP Season 10 Episode 7.
Welcome back, Monique!
Episode 7 wasted no time getting into what we’ve all been waiting for: Monique! Thanks to an invite from Ashley, she made her grand return to the franchise after five years away from the group. We’re all going to quietly pretend like her one-season stint on Love & Marriage DC didn’t happen.
Monique’s return comes as she enters a new chapter in her life. She’s “three hundred pounds lighter” after her divorce from Chris. She’s got a new bird (RIP T’Challa), a recently renovated home, and a new perspective on life. The mother of three said she didn’t want her brawl with Candiace to define her place in the group.
“I couldn’t understand how that reaction came out of me,” Monique said, reflecting on the Season 5 fight. “I didn’t know that I had childhood trauma.”
In addition to the fight, the last time we saw Monique in Season 5, she was unleashing hell on Gizelle with her binder full of receipts. However, Monique explained to Ashley that she doesn’t hold any hard feelings toward Gizelle. She wants to move forward. But can the same thing be said about Gizelle?
A tale of two Nigerian cannabis lines

At the Season 9 RHOP reunion, Stacey claimed that she wasn’t working on a cannabis line to rival Happy Eddie. Of course, we now know that wasn’t the full truth, and in Episode 7, the cameras followed Stacey as she put the finishing touches on her brand.
As if the “cheater brand” accusations weren’t already thick, Stacey decided to name her brand Shayo, a Nigerian word that means “to be happy.” She said she chose a Nigerian name after discovering her heritage in a DNA test.
Although Wendy could have been salty about Stacey’s expansion into the weed business, she’s been down this road before. Remember when Karen tried to beat her to the punch with the candle line? Three wicks, baby! With that in mind, she took the news in stride, even though she did jokingly call Stacey “Single Black Female.”
“If Stacey goes and gets a PHD or four degrees, I’m losing my sh*t,” Wendy joked.
Angel pops off — in private

Throughout the entire Nevis trip, we watched Angel’s mood flip-flop every other minute, depending on who else was in the room. She struggles to address her conflicts head-on, and that trend continued in this week’s episode.
Back in Potomac, she met up with her older sister, Ingrid. While it’s nice to learn more about the new Housewife outside of her WAG status, things took a nasty turn when she got together with Ingrid.
Angel still felt upset about Gizelle calling out her overly edited photo. She felt even madder that Wendy laughed about it. So, they got their revenge by sitting together and picking apart Wendy and Gizelle for their looks.
“Asshole lips and giving Forest Whitaker in the eyes,” Angel said, mocking Wendy’s looks.
Meanwhile, her sister aimed at Gizelle. She tried to say that the RHOP OG overly filters her photos and doesn’t look nearly as good in person. Anyone with eyes knows that’s a stretch, but go off, girl.
Of course, Angel is entitled to her clapback, but the hypocrisy here is pretty jarring. This woman cried in Nevis because she felt like Gizelle attacked her appearance. She even got an apology — only to turn around and say worse things about Gizelle and Wendy in private. Where was this energy in Nevis? How is it possible to be on your seventh bad episode in a row?
Jassi put the W in WAG

Ms. Rideaux officially became Mrs. Harris in Episode 7! Jassi and Darius walked down the aisle, and Bravo cameras were rolling. Wendy, Ashley, and Stacey hopped on a plane to Texas to support their friend on her big day.
At the wedding, Jassi looked incredible, and she seemed genuinely happy to have the support from the Housewives. Or maybe she was just happy that their presence meant her big day would end up on Bravo. Either way, it was a sweet gesture for them to attend the wedding, and perhaps now that the wedding stress is off Jassi’s plate, she’ll stop being so cantankerous in group situations. Fingers crossed.
Despite traveling across the country for the wedding, the trio of Housewives had a very strict time crunch. They could only stay for two hours, because they had to hop back on a flight to DC. World Pride was calling their names!
Monique crashes the Pride party

As you probably know, Ashley and Gizelle’s brand, GnA, is no longer focused on apparel (thank goodness) and is instead focused on philanthropic events. Thus, GnA got a float in World Pride, and everyone in the cast got an invite — even the Sad Sisters Duo!
Although things seemed awkward the last time they were together as a group, Ashley lightened the mood by welcoming everyone with airbrushed t-shirts, each with a personalized, X-rated nickname. Then, Monique came dancing into the party. Uh oh!
At first, Gizelle looked a little panicked seeing Monique for the first time, but it quickly subsided. She said she felt eager to get to know Monique in her new life, post-divorce. No drama there, but Monqiue wasn’t out of the woods just yet.
Keiarna, having just met Monique for the first time, decided to take it upon herself to tee up the information about Stacey’s connection to Chris. She tried to play dumb, as if she wasn’t intentionally trying to stir the pot, but let’s be real. Keairna doesn’t have the range for that level of Housewifery. She wanted another messy moment, and next week, we’ll see how it lands.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. Stream it the next day on Peacock.
