You know, I appreciate someone who follows the rules. In the case of Bravo’s Housewives franchise, it’s nice to see Denise Richards taking the title to heart. The latest addition to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills tied the knot on Saturday to fiancé Aaron Phypers in a small ceremony in Malibu. Denise has been filming with Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and crew (and vacationing with the ladies in the Bahamas), and if a wedding isn’t enough of a story line, I don’t know what is…although there is no word yet as to whether the nuptials were filmed for the upcoming season.
The movie star, and former Mrs. Charlie Sheen, is just one of the already famous faces to populate the RHOBH cast. I guess in Beverly Hills, a reality show is a great retirement plan after a career in show business. Sure, Bravo housewives always end up being famous, but very rarely are they a household name before the show—with the exception of the Rodeo Drive ladies and Real Housewives of Atlanta’sKandi Burruss (and that one time with Kim Fields…).
Instead of throwing lavish birthday parties for his wife or purchasing pink luxury cars she’s unable to back down the driveway, Peeee Kaaayyyay should probably be looking into procuring some outside income in addition to that Bravo check. The Bellagio can now come after the huge sum he owes to the casino.
In this week’s roundup of reality star sightings, we have Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna meeting up for lunch (possibly filmed for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and Kyle driving off her new car, a Vanderhall Speedster. Lisa Rinna was also seen this week heading to yoga and attending an event for Rachel Zoe.
Kyle Richards had to deal with some disappointing news this week. Her show, American Woman, hasn’t been renewed for a second season by Paramount Network. BUT she’s keeping hope alive that another network will scoop it up. She posted, “Thank you so much for watching @americanwomantv and for all your support. All of you have been so supportive and cheered me on and I am so appreciative. I’m so proud of the show we made and am so grateful for the talented team of people it took to create it. We put our hearts & souls into it. So many of you have expressed your love for the show. Maybe we will find it a new home …”
Kim shared that she’s happy to not be filming right now because life is great. “It’s just so amazing for me. I like not having the negativity, being at peace, waking up in the morning and going to watch my grandson or having him for a week. I’m super grateful for that.”
Last week,The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamprevealed to her Instagram followers that she was releasing her first workout video. The fitness/accountability coach talked about the project with Page Six and says it’s hopefully going to be released within the next three weeks.
Teddi had shared on Instagram, “You asked, so get ready to receive (and sweat!). Just wrapped my very first workout video– All In: 30 Minute Cardio by Teddi.” She thanked the huge team for their help in making her dream a reality and added, “Can’t wait to show you all, especially those of you who requested and motivated me to do this thing.”
