At this point, it seems like Gina Kirschenheiter is having the most amicable divorce in Real Housewives history. She’s completely sure that she’s ready to move on and she and her husband are on great terms. Sure, Matt Kirschenheiter has never actually appeared on Real Housewives of Orange County, so we don’t know for sure what’s going on with them, but if Gina says its all good and Matt hasn’t said a peep, then it’s safe to assume it’s all good.
There’s just one problem though: Gina’s costars. They are not buying what Gina is selling and they are giving her such a hard time about her decision to divorce, even though they pretty much all just met Gina and they don’t know her husband.
Moral compasses aside, the ladies are making their best efforts to get along on tonight’s Real Housewives of Orange County. In the wake of Gina Kirschenheiter’s divorce announcement, Vicki Gunvalson is still spewing her “stay married” advice. However, this time it’s poor Steve Lodge who is the captive audience. She really tries to work marriage into about every conversation with this man, doesn’t she? The best part of this story is that her holier than thou conversation happens at a biker bar after an afternoon of riding a motorcycle with her man. Talk about a fish out of water!
Meanwhile in the OC, Emily Simpson admits that she loves living so close to her in-laws. Not only does her pocket MIL provide wonderful insight, but she’s a damn good babysitter, too! Speaking of babies, Emily has a tragic past with pregnancies which is what ultimately led her sister to be a surrogate for her and Shane. With nine viable embryos still on ice with her doctor, she is eager to give her own daughter a sister close in age. The only snag in her plan? Shane isn’t on board for another child…yet.
Teen Mom OG returns to MTV tonight, and with it, two new moms! Farrah Abraham has moved on to new projects is no longer on the show. Teen Mom OG has added Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd to the roster and introduced us to them in a special that aired recently. Both moms are no stranger to reality TV. Cheyenne was part of Are You The One? and also The Challenge. Bristol has been in the spotlight due to her mom’s political position and has participated on her own reality show and competed on Dancing with the Stars, as well. Her son Tripp is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars Junior.
Cheyenne Floyd is the only one of the Teen Mom OG cast who wasn’t an actual teen mom. She didn’t get pregnant and give birth until she was in her twenties. She met Cory Wharton on reality TV and shortly after they hooked up, she found out she was pregnant. She had a boyfriend at the time and wasn’t sure who the father was. She told her boyfriend Zach the situation, but he didn’t care. But then when her daughter Ryder was born they found out she had a metabolism deficiency called VLCAD and at six months, doctors wanted her to have genetic testing done to help and that’s when they learned that Cory was indeed Ryder’s father.
The Real Housewives of Dallas is back tonight with a new episode that promises a lot of drama, but first we are checking in with LeeAnne Locken to get her take on last week’s chaos.
Instead of writing a summary blog, LeeAnne basically did a live recap of the entire episode. We’ll pare it way, way, way down for you! She starts off with a dig at D’Andra Simmons, “Welcome back to Dallas where we will now begin calling it Double Standard Dallas because of Double Standard D’Andra Simmons!”
Tonight we say farewell to our favorite yacht crew as another season comes to a close. The Below Deck Mediterranean reunion is tonight and we can’t wait to rehash the drama and love triangles of the season!
In the preview clips released, Captain Sandy Yawn gets candid with Conrad Empson, scolding him for his many, many cigarette breaks and his preoccupation with Hannah Ferrier. She even lets him know that she doesn’t see him making it in this line of work. Ouch!
Before we head into the new episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas tonight, Kameron Westcott and Stephanie Hollman are each pleading their case on the drama surrounding Brandi Redmond‘s adoption secret. They took to their blogs to explain their side of things. It basically boils down to: Kameron is hurt and Stephanie thinks she’s acting ridiculous.
Kameron shared why she was so upset over not being let in on the big adoption secret. “I hung out with Brandi multiple times before the party and she never mentioned to me once that she had a new baby at home. This is a HUGE DEAL! How could she go to lunch with me and not say a new baby is at home?”
I don’t know where Below Deck Mediterranean would be without Hannah Ferrier. No, I’m not talking about her performance as a member of the yacht crew, but she is really carrying this show on her back. She has drama with almost every cast member episode after episode. She’s the only original cast member who is still on this show. She really is the MVP of Below Deck Med in an unconventional way.
As expected, there is even more Hannah-instigated drama in tonight’s season finale episode. According to the episode description on the Bravo website, “Hannah picks a fight with Joao [Franco] and Brooke [Laughton], causing the mild mannered Brooke to fight back.” Brooke snapping back at Hannah has been a long time coming.”
Y’all, I realize that we’re only two episodes into Real Housewives of Dallas but this sleeper franchise is delivering. Tonight’s drama is no exception. Sure, it’s refreshing to see LeeAnne Locken playing nice (in spite of her busted amygdala), but let’s bring out the
knives claws. They’re just hands! At her baby reveal, Brandi Redmond confronts D’Andra Simmons about those pesky Adderall abuse accusations, and the gang heads to Kameron Wescott’s family home in Beaver Creek for a getaway filled with nastiness. Apparently the hostess in pink has received the memo that dog food does not a story line make!
Cary Deuber left her bikini in the Lone Star State, and Stephanie Hollman is trying to defend her friend without making anymore enemies. The trip looks like a scene straight out of a hybrid of The Shining and Pretty in Pink. Needless to say, I can’t wait!
