On last night’ss episode of Teen Mom 2,Kailyn Lowry is still livid at the possibility of paying her ex, Jo Rivera child support. She believes he is trying to make back what he has already spent for their son. Is he is looking for a quick come up? Or is this only fair?
Kailyn sees Jo for the first time since meeting with her attorney at Isaac’s basketball evaluation. You can cut the tension with a knife. She literally tries to walk out, without acknowledging his presence. Wow… can you say awkward? Neither Jo nor Kailyn speak to one another the entire time they are in each other’s presence. SMH…
I would give anything to witness the Housewives crossover that went down when Teresa Giudice, Carole Radziwill, and Brandi Glanville all took part in the same promotional event. Obviously, they all looked amazing, but I would love to know what they chatted about in between working. It seems like such a random grouping of people that I cannot help being interested in and entertained by.
Speaking of Teresa Giuidice, one of her most formidable opponents, Kim DePaola, the eternally infamous Kim D, hung out with Teresa’s estranged cousin Kathy Wakile… and made sure to photograph it, of course. When were these two ever friends? I can’t imagine Kathy wanted anything to do with Kim D when she orchestrated the Strippergate shenanigans back in the day. I imagine they got together to talk shit about Teresa and Melissa Gorga….or maybe I’m just getting dramatic and they just wanted to cause a stir by posing together for a social media post. If that’s the case, then mission accomplished. If they actually are legitimately friends with no ulterior motives, then color me shocked.
For a few of the moms on Teen Mom 2, it’s been a long time coming for some big moments in their lives. Briana DeJesus joined the cast this season pregnant and still with baby daddy Luis but so much has happened in between, it seems like she’s been pregnant for years. It probably felt like it for her too!
Kailyn Lowry has actually been waiting and working for years to graduate college and this week’s episode shows that she is one step closer to walking across the stage to get her degree. Leah Messer works on a new dream of hers, while Jenelle Evans unexpectedly clashes with her mom Barbara, and Chelsea DeBoer takes her family on a Florida vacation.
Last night, we all got treated to a bonus episode of Teen Mom 2 and if you happened to miss it, I’m here to give you all the details on what went down.
Kailyn Lowry has waited six long years but she is finally finished with school! As much as she wants to focus on that achievement, Jo has a focus of his own and that’s getting 50/50 custody of Isaac in place. He calls his dad and explain that he tried to talk to Kail about the whole thing first but since she didn’t react well to that and refused to hear him out, he had no choice but to file papers with his lawyer. His dad hopes that it will be resolved before they even get to court but Jo doesn’t look so sure.
Last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2 has given us the long-awaited conclusion of Jenelle Evans’ court battle for Jace. Spoiler alert: Jenelle doesn’t exactly get her way. Speaking of court, Kailyn Lowry thought she could catch a break from it now that her divorce is finalized but her ex, Jo Rivera, has different plans and she finds herself speed dialing a lawyer again. The other Teen Moms have decidedly less drama so let’s start with them.
Life is good for Chelsea DeBoer and husband Cole as they plan for their upcoming wedding reception and settle into life as a family of four. Chelsea meets her Dad downtown at her Stepmom’s shop to pick up the kids after Randy watched them last night. They talk about how Aubree is going to see Adam Lind for Father’s Day but Chelsea isn’t so sure she will actually do anything outside of seeing him. On the drive home, Chelsea asks Aubree if she’s excited to see her Dad and she says he always sleeps when she is there and never plays with him.
Tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2 left me with more questions than answers when it comes to the state of affairs for Kailyn Lowry, Briana DeJesus and Jenelle Evans. It seems like everything is always up in the air and nothing is ever resolved in their lives.
Starting with Kail, the ups and downs with ex-husband Javi Marroquin continue and ever since he filed for child support, they have been down. Despite the tension, Kail claims she is doing her best to make sure he sees the boys but when he can’t pick them up at the spot she designated, that quickly goes out the window. She decides to meet him in a parking lot that’s convenient for her but after a few texts from him, pulls off angrily and explains in detail to the boys that “Javi” (not Dad) doesn’t have the right car with car seats to pick them up so they have to come to school with her.
OK, so if you tuned in for the supersized Teen Mom 2 last night, we are now on to the actual reunion portion of things, with hopefully ALL the teen moms. If you didn’t have the stomach for two hours (and believe me, I understand), check out my recap on the first half so you’re all caught up. You’re going to need it as a point of reference and really, that’s where all the action happened. Tonight’s reunion was pretty quiet in comparison.
As Leah Messer and Kailyn Lowry get hair and makeup, Chelsea Houska is back on set after a fever yesterday and (surprise!) so is Jenelle Evans, who faked sick and stormed off set because she was mad at her mom. In the makeup chair, Jenelle defends herself and blames the producers again for her troubles with Barb. Under the watchful eye of Baby Daddy/Creepy Control Freak David Eason, Jenelle goes to film her intro on the reunion and when asked what her most positive trait is, she doesn’t have one but two for us: being well spoken and also, educated. HA! With that little gem, on with the show!
So last week on Teen Mom 2, we were left with the ever frustrating “To Be Continued…..” as Kailyn Lowry proclaimed to soon-to-be ex-husband Javi Marroquin that “sometimes you need to hurt people to make yourself happy.” That seems to sum up Kail pretty nicely but hey, at least girlfriend is staying true to herself. Naturally, Javi can’t leave on that note and after storming out, he storms right back in – without knocking!!!! Take that, Kail!
When Javi does come back in, he doesn’t get the warmest welcome and Kail immediately tells him to get out. Javi plops down on the couch and says he doesn’t want to fight anymore. Kail insists that she doesn’t want to make their divorce about them, it’s about Lincoln. No, sweetie, your divorce is about your marriage, not your child but nice try to get out of dealing with whatever problems you guys did have that led up to this point. After brow beating Javi some more, he is finally worn down to the point of getting teary and realizes he won’t get through to Kail at all. He asks if they can leave today on good terms and co-parent together. “That’s up to you” Kail snaps back. On to the reunion!
